Chief get off social media for a while. When I went through my separation and divorce I deactivated my socials to avoid seen anything about her. Your situation sounds rough but this shall pass too, give your self grace and time to heal. In due time you’ll come out the other side a much better person and knowing what you want and don’t want out of your next partner, and that’s someone who respect you as a husband and her self as a lady and not an attention wh*re.

Pray brother, build a relationship with God and you’ll see how things start to fall in place. Been there and done that, tried going out with friends, dating, and nothing could fill that void like building a relationship with God.

That’s p*ssy talk, get out of that weak mind space. Your having a scarcity mind set which leads you to believe this one woman out of billions somehow was the best you could do, this type of mentality is the biggest pussy repellent. When you employ an abundance mentality on woman they flock. It sounds easier said then done but putting this particular women on a pedestal is holding you back, you said it your self, you’re in love with the idea of a woman who faked her persona. Wake up my dude. You …

My guy wtf are you doing? You’re watching your ex’s offsprings? Your “dating” a married woman and you’re surprise the husband is pissed? My guy check between your legs, you’re acting like a female. No shit the guy is pissed, they’re still married. You’re the rebound she monkey branch to but with all this female behavior you’re embodying once the divorce gets through she’ll dumb you right after. Leave this chick alone and take some time to gather your self my guy, you f*cking up.

That’s a good observation, I thought the same. It seems like it was an increase in divorce, specially filed by the woman and a lot of them are been manipulated by social media specifically TikTok. The china theory is not far fetched they are influencing the masses by putting out media that creates conflict between partners to destroy the nuclear family, creating a divided society, leading to an divided nation. With this they have a population that can’t agree to any political views just because …

Did any of this calculations include child support, alimony and half the retirement? The house is part of the equation but not all of it. Once she starts talking to a lawyer they’re going to taint her mind. Good luck brother

I was In a similar situation, high school sweet heart. Together for 10 years, married for about 5 years. One thing lead to another she asked for a divorce, moved back to her parents in a different state and I was left alone back at home to figure it out. Is gonna suck but you’re going to be ok. Imagine like you were just in a bad accident and were left with broken bones, everything hurts and you can’t function like normal but you know if you give it time you’ll eventually start healing and one d…

I always hear this notion against cohabitating and never fully understood the issue. I know there’s common law but that rarely exist anymore, and obviously I’ve check for where I live. Also living expenses have dramatically increased so living independently is harder than it was about 5 years ago, so the notion of having two spots sounds good on paper but not to the wallet. I see cohabitating as a safer alternative to marriage where you’re actually under contract and it could be enforced in cour…

2 years post divorce, almost 4 since separation. Been there done that, through the ups and downs. Best advice I can give is prayer, not once, not whenever you feel like it but daily, this is your shortcut to healing without putting your self through a bunch of temporary feel good moments.

I got you man, one step at a time. This is a trivial time for all of us but is the best fuel to help you become that person you always dream of becoming. All that anger, rage, sadness would help fuel you into becoming that person. The less time you spend dwelling in the past and start thinking ahead you’ll find true happiness. Don’t get stuck in the past that’s the easiest way to kill your future. There’s billions of woman out there even if only 1% of those woman liked you that’s still millions …

Once those love goggles come off you’ll see her for what she really was, specially after betraying you. Stop putting her on a pedestal. She’s not one in a billion she’s one of a billion. You’re romanticizing the person she was but disregarding she’s a complete different person now. The right one would come along when you least expect it, they say love finds you when your not looking for it. Since you’re actively dating your looking for it which in return you won’t find it per the saying. Give yo…

Why the f would you put your self through that again? You’re not even divorce you haven’t experience the real mess that’s about to unfold. Once the ex realizes there’s no fixing she’s going to turn that energy into making your life as difficult as possible during the divorce. Good luck my brother

Didn’t give af, I knew it was bound to happen eventually so I stopped checking up on what her life was up to. Clown ass got pregnant within months of separating not even officially divorce. By this point she was no longer my problem, some idiot knocked her up and has to deal with that illogical human. All in all she’s her own person and I had no ownership over her, she’s just one out of billions. Stop putting them on a pedestal. Don’t worry about finding someone right away, give your self the ti…

Brother this sounds like a very complex situation, take a deep breath and don’t allow your emotions to dictate your actions that’s female behavior. Stay level headed cool throughout this process. Limit communication with this person to the bare minimum, as much as you try to be cordial and find a middle ground shes after blood and just wants to nuke everything in her path. That’s how they go about this situation, if you play your cards right and keep your self together rather then falling for he…

Hey brother hang in there we’ve all been in similar situation. I can’t relate on the kids aspect because thankfully we didn’t have any kids as a matter of fact she got pregnant by someone else while we were separated, but that’s a whole different situation. It’s been said on the sub multiple times by many other that they usually already have someone lined up by the time they call it quits. Seems like woman can’t be alone so before they decide to call it quits they usually already have someone lined up. Is called monkey branching and it usually never works. They leave the relationship thinking they found a replacement but the guy is usually just using them until they don’t. We all been there is easier said then done but when my ex left at that momen…

On the same boat two years post divorce and today hit me. Thankfully we didn’t have any kids as that would have made it harder. I don’t have an answer for you unfortunately just sharing that your not alone in the process, I was hoping that after this long I would be past it but it still hits me sometimes. Yes that’s a lot of money is gonna suck to part ways with it but look at it from a different perspective. You grew a business on your own that is worth 1 million. It sucks that the person you trust ed the most is reaping your hard work but you’ll come out a wiser man unless you repeat the same mistake then that’s on you on loosing your wealth

Head up champ we all been in your shoes, It gets better!! You won’t see it now because you’re in the mids of a shit show but once you give it time and allow the dust to settle and finally get the chance to breath and look at it from an outside perspective, you’ll realize she did you a favor by leaving you. Reason why is now you get to see the real her and the fake ass person she was portraying. Keep your chin up.

Change your out look and perspective and you may find your self stop feeling this way. Stop looking at it from the perspective of your ex living “a better life then you” instead look at it from this perspective, your kids have a nice place to stay and they are still having a good quality of life regardless of who’s got what. Stop worrying about what she has or doesn’t, this point in life you need to find things that make you happy from the smallest to the biggest and concentrate on that. Reflect…

Being alone doesn’t have to suck, you just need to learn how to fill your time with doing stuff you like such as listening to music, gaming, working out.. find a hobby and within that hobby look for people that share that hobby. Once you built that network you’ll find your self busy and entertain where this feeling of loneliness would disappear. Once you learn to enjoy time on your own you’ll realize how much you enjoy spending time by your self.

Is this IRS debt been split in two? Or are you the only one taking on this debt after the divorce? Are both of y’all names on the deed? Talk to a couple of lawyers around most do a free consultation and see how your able to add the debt into the agreement. A good lawyer would save you future headaches.

You said it took 10-15 years to get where you once were. That means you already know what it takes and how to get there that’s more then half the battle the remaining portion is putting in the work, you could probably accomplish it in less time this go around because you already know how to get it and what it takes. You spoke facts man to include my self due some dumb ass sh*t for woman so far as signing our lives away. But what will it take for men to wake up and regain control. I learned my lesson it took my ex wife to wake me up watching, and seen how woman act behind their husbands back was enough for a one time learning lesson.

Take it one day at a time. IT IS NOT THE END of the world. You had a life before her you’ll have one after her. SHE IS NOT the only woman in the world. All of us in this group been in your shoes seek out friends and family, and don’t forget you have a big support group in this forum. One day at the time, start by re finding who you use to be before she tried changing who you were. Start doing the things you use to like doing.

And for the girl part work on letting go most relationships have an expiration date. You’re young once you learn the game and how it plays you’ll be better prepare for the next time you play. Concentrate in bettering your self for you and your daughter let the ex live her life she’ll become another person you know over time

If you have a clean record and get your GED I’d consider looking at joining the military. If you qualify to join the service this might turn your life around. Provide health care for your daughter. Get you back on your feet and learn a new trade while making a decent income

I was in a similar position, ex wanted a divorce we separated and months went by without her filing. Don’t take this as a change of heart from her part but more of she’s not prepare to be on her own. Once she figures it out she’ll be out. When a woman tells you she wants a divorce she made her mind up a long time ago there’s not turning back. My best advice is to file your self and take charge of the situation.

That’s what I was thinking, it seems like once woman reach a certain age they become desperate to get pregnant by whoever then become single moms not realizing they lost a lot of value. I’m thinking she went from been a wife with a home and a stable life to living back with her parents and getting pregnant while still married. Can’t make this up

Exactly this I’ve talked to so many woman that are in their mid 20’s looking to finally settled and get married and have kids because their biological clock is running out. If your half decent and have your life put together they’ll put up a show to make you think their wife material. Once the documents are signed they have no reason to keep trying they got you under contract and if you don’t appease their every single demands your a piece of sh*t and she deserves better. Tinder sucks for guys, most girls use it to get followers on their social media or to buy their only fans. Try hinge I went on about 5 dates the first month I had it. Also if you have Facebook try their dating app I had a lot of matches. Like everyone said move out your only making it harder on your self cut contact. I’ve heard about this scar healing over. And that resonates to me. That healing scar is a strong synonym. I’m guarding my self from this new girl even though she has proven to be genuine in what she does because she cares about me, I just know how it all ends. So I’m not invested I was with my ex for 10 years.

at first it sucks to come home to an empty house but embrace it after a while that feeling starts to fade. Make the house the way you like. Make it your personal space. It is ridiculous at this point it’s been 5 months, I went to talk to her plenty of times trying to fix the situation but she said she’s set in divorcing me but yet keeps dragging this by not filing. Don’t ever let anyone talk down on your service. We give up way too much to have the person who should be supporting us all the way through to make our life’s more difficult. We give them shelter, health care and security for them to ask for more. Brother your better off enjoying your own company.
