Every single institution to support men is eventually diverted into supporting women instead. Woman should be supported, so should men. We should be able to seek gender based support and be answered in kind.

Brand recognition? Totally agree they had more in the 80's than they did this century. But it still comes down to the same basic issue the girl scouts CBF'ed improving their organisation and decided to take over the boy scouts

/r/MensRights08/01/25 09:17 PM

Ok, so what I'm hearing is; actually they couldn't build strong enough brand recognition so they decided to use some from a group that already had it. Also, "don't forget they tried to protect their members from predatory people in a way that was standard practice at the time". Personally I'm glad the world has grown enough to understand that profiling a person based on their sexual orientations is wrong but I do think they were doing the best they could at the time.
/r/MensRights08/01/25 08:16 PM
25

Agree with the history you outlined. My question is: so the girl scouts didn't have a curriculum that appealed to girls and the answer was to take over then boy scouts. No thoughts of adjusting or updating their own system? Just find someone else's system and dilute that beyond recognition to the point it is no longer able to provide the exact things that made it work in the first place? Interesting

It's the inverse for the 'not all men' ragebait point. Your point here alludes that not all women are like that. And to be perfectly blunt you're seeking to increase the social standing of a minority of people within this community who at this stage aren't on record of doing anything. There have been multiple posts lately trying to do the same. To address your query directly though. My reference is to compare the group you are trying to promote as the thin edge of the wedge as many tried to prev…

Great. Let them organise. In their own space then come and be allies. Organised. As a group, As much as they can. Asking us as a group to support a group of people that are members of the group (re: gender) responsible for the atrocities, difficulties and issues we come here to discuss, vent, publish and seek help with (where possible) is more than narcissistic and self-agrandizing it could also be looked as at the undermining of the purpose of this reddit in the same manner as gas lighting unde…

Perhaps a better point then would be to establish ways to communicate. I know that a lot of feminists cells use/used closed meetings with no electronics under the guise of 'reading clubs' and 'knitting' clubs. More recently they moved to having all personal electronics dropped in sealed boxes on entry. And as much as we all understand the problems coming from AWDTSG groups their effectiveness cannot be argued with. Maybe a decentralized community/communication method such as independently hosted…

Totally agree! Attempted to create safe spaces or groups is immediately shot down though. I think we need to emulate the work of those that have created such issues and start at grass roots level and also start building infrastructure or networks inside of the social pillars that we will need to help us to move forward.

/r/MensRights28/04/24 10:21 AM

Every year it gets the same around mother's Day. News stories, events, rumours it all gathers steam and hits the public view. The different cells use it as a rallying cry. One of their investigators posted in the national subreddit with incredible figures. I questioned their sources, the amount of hate that got sent my way was hectic. There was zero basis to the claims. In one instance they were claiming the entire national number of people injured in DV was the rate of female victims deaths due…

Pretty sure that carries bigger sentencing

It's due to most of these laws in most western nations being written or at least 'corrected' by feminist loyalists to have the 'act' of rape defined in a way that requires the offender to insert their genitals into the victim. This effectively removes the ability of the court to apply these laws to women.

Just an alternate thought. Does this mean we need to have a full video an audio of all intimate relations to ensure we are fully covered for "affirmative and ongoing" consent? I mean can there be any other form of evidence? I guess there would also be a need for it to not be known otherwise a female partner could claim the video was filmed under duress right?

Agree with what you're saying generally. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you and your family hadn't been hurt in this way. The biggest issue we have with this is that it has been handed down to the current generations as nothing more than a tool or tactic, In some cases as the only tool, for them to use to reach financial "survival" or "independence". Teaching not doing this means teaching not to survive. If we can't give an achievable alternative no one will be interested in listening.

Mens body continually create spermatozoa. They only have short lifespans. The impact on a males body to stop production is drastic. Women's bodies have a limited supply of their eggs. TBH, the underlying premise of the topic is problematic. There have been many advancements this society as a whole made by people with a personal feminist agenda. The feminist groups generally lose support of they are seen to be being even neutral to male issues. So; Can A feminist make improvements to society as a whole? Yes Do Feminist groups encourage anything that may provide benefits to men? Not for measurable results

An easy misunderstanding but it's not to make man do anything but more to create a cultural exemption from responsibility. Any act.

Your approaching the situation with your eyes open, that's good. Be alert for red flags. Only you can decide if it's the right place for you too be in. Ensure you take steps to protect yourself financially, emotionally and physically. If things start feeling off have an easy way to get "space". Prep yourself an overnight/weekend bag and keep it at a friend's. Hope you never need it.

most of these you have quoted are just examples of poor wording. try this instead: "Don't be a creep when you approach girls" and "save your approaches for people who aren't focused on other things" and "People are more receptive to advances when they are already in a situation where they anticipate being approached" But be aware, even these examples have caveats. Basically being a douchebag doesn't help your game.

By definition, yes. Feminism isn't about hating men, it's about finding the equality for all. In reality, no. The early works of the feminist movement in the 60's and 70's clearly outline a misandry underpinning and completely hijacked their entire culture. First through third wave. Most of the current crop of believers don't understand the level of mental gymnastics and cult like brainwashing being performed in them. In all honesty, while I sympathize with the poor individuals being indoctrinat…
