The hindsight has been covered here extensively so I'll offer this. If you find yourself in a situation where you can feel anger or annoyance building within, remain calm and as stoic as possible. In this case, there's nothing wrong with taking her where she wanted to go provided you never make contact with her again. Just remain silent, let her out, and move along. Some may disagree with this as you might be perceived as a taxi, but what does it matter if you end it then and there. No need to e…

Do nothing. It's over. Personally, I wouldn't have said have the guys you talk to do it. It makes you appear insecure

My thought as well. I'd probably go silent. She's clearly not feeling something after 3 dates. Cut your losses.

Exactly right... She's playing the game as well as any trp man. Eventually, her value will decline but you have to make hay while the sun shines

Whatever you choose to do, be passionate about it. Your passion with convey positively to both men and women and in the process make you more interesting to them.

It's not about the burrito - it's the fact that she has you bringing her food! That's the role of a husband. FWIW - girls on the planet I live on prefer tacos to burritos.

All the more reason to limit texts to logistics. It's pretty hard to screw that up. You don't need a text game if you're strong face to face. EDIT: Can't spell

Well written. Maybe I'm missing something, but she's definitely not interested beyond friendship. She didn't want to stay out with you after dinner, and, worst of all, you're taking her a burrito?? Congrats on becoming an orbiter.

This is a quality report here OP and something everyone should read who has difficulty or doesn't like going out solo. It sounds like you had two or three ladies teed up - just need to close one. Or in the absence of a hard close, get a number. Overall, well done. It's refreshing to read a solid night field report.

Nothing wrong with a healthy fantasy life as long as everyone involved consents. I tend to avoid labels as they bring negative connotations. As with all things in life, passionately pursue your desires - you only live once.

You're getting caught in both your wife's and son's frame - not sure how this is redpill coming in handy. Pro Tip - put your handy over your mouth after one sentence so blue pill crap ceases to come out. Said another way, limit yourself to one sentence responses. You can concisely communicate your message (which is good) without going on about hornet's nests.

Is this what seduction has evolved to? A bunch of definitions, static flowcharts, and language? Those openers are shit and combined with the robotic nature of your delivery, it's no wonder you're closing with a handshake (pukes in mouth). Look, just go talk to people. No agenda, no script, no objective. Approach dudes if you need to.

You fucked up by losing your cool and made the situation worse (for her) by forcing her to come home from an important business trip. Next time (if there is one) stay calm and tell her that you'll address the situation when she returns. You must realize now that you are the beta cuck and she is the alpha dog. Total role reversal.

Ultimately you're responsible for your own happiness. What that looks like is different to every individual. If you want to spin 5 plates, deal with the shit test, and never sleep over - go for it. If you want to find a good woman for a LTR - do it. There's good philosophy here, some of which is more applicable then others. To complete dismiss it or call it a disappointment indicates to me that you haven't taken step one. You need to be happy with yourself. Improve yourself, focus on hobbies, li…

"I'm going to be very forward", pause, "I want to sleep with you tonight" Right there. You had no logistics to execute if she said yes. This is important because if you had said something like, let's go back to my place or physically go back to your place, your odds would have been much better. You need to take care of details. Also, ditch the one last chance to change her mind strategy. Pretty creepy.

How does LTR and 2 months equate? At this stage of the "relationship" (note I use that term loosely as evidenced by the quotes), you shouldn't be committed to each other....way too early for a 20 year old. If you can't deal with her behavior, which I would consider normal at her age, then you need to next her or dial back the commitment level.

This is exactly what came to my mind, of course assuming the OP is not trolling - which I suspect there is a very high chance that he is. It's unfortunate that your post will be buried here. So much of the advice in this forum is about getting laid or getting numbers when the real victories (especially when starting out) is about getting out of your comfort zone and being social. That's way high. For $100,000 policy, you shouldn't be paying more than $25 to $30 per month tops. Here's the deal, you may not plan on having kids but you'd still want some coverage to cover final expenses. Maybe at some point too you get passionate about a cause and want to provide for a charitable gift after you die - life insurance is a good vehicle to do this. Perm life insurance can be used as an investment, its accumulates cash value, you can borrow against the cash value, and the benefit…

You're responsible for your own successes and failures. Take some responsibility for your actions, or lack thereof. YOU are problem, not TRP or anything else.

Well written. It's difficult, and I would argue impossible, for a "normal" mind to rationalize or understand what a depressed or suicidal person experiences. I have never been suicidal, but I was severely depressed for a short period of time. Even today it's difficult to explain, or put in words, all the thoughts and feelings I felt at the time. That said, I keep those feelings during that time in the back of my mind as a warning and a motivator to continually improve myself.

I'm going to respond to each of your points: Any meaningful change doesn't happen overnight. Lurk here, read the sidebar material, and engage with other members of the community here. 2&3. This is typical during a transition. Things / people that were once important, probably because your life was structured to please them in some manner, are no longer relevant to your new self. Have to agree. I'm not reading anything in this post that remotely is Alpha. The only thing you're validating is the numbers game. It's been said here but it bears repeating. Alcohol and anxiety are killers when it comes to performance. Besides that, all of us have the occasional failure to launch for a number of reasons. Don't worry about it and play it cool. It's more common than you likely think and that's because no one really shares that they couldn't get it up or finish. What you could have done better? Close with something versus just sitting there and talking. You're acting like a woman. Also - you're takeaways are garbage. I think you've handled the situation very well. Especially maintaining frame while you're grieving the loss of your father (my condolences). It would have been easy to break down and get drawn into her drama with a traumatic life event going on. You provided an alternative to communicate at an adult level and she chose not to do so. If you find her in the parking lot, keep frame and do not engage her there. My sense is you will probably do this anyway but it never hurts to reinforce. Stay strong…

Are you a multi millionaire in terms of liquidity or equity in real estate? There's a big difference and I'd caution you that multi family is in a bubble in most metropolitan cities in the US. As soon as lending restrictions lighten up (and they will), there will be an exodus from multi family back to traditional sfr. Hopefully you liquidate well before that occurs.

This is the best advice here. Chase some of the other women that have been flirting with you and that will help with your stress over cutting contact. I think you'll find that much of the shared excitement and passion is a result of the long distance relationship and that it is destined to fade. It already seems like her excitement has faded. There's nothing alpha about buying a warranty. That's one of the biggest scams out there in the car business right next to gap insurance. You know what's alpha? Grabbing my girl after working on my car and leaving grease all over her ass. Pick up a tool instead of acting the fool.
/r/TheRedPill08/02/15 12:11 AM

It sounds like she wasn't interested. The lack of physical response from her to your escalation plus the awkward goodbye is usually a good indicator that a woman isn't feeling it for you. I think you're getting used here and are going to have no luck with the two new girls. I'd remain distant. If she's been depressed for several years, she may need clinical help. She needs to get her self together before you even thinking about making her an LTR. You'll never be nor should you be the guy that helps her get over the ex. That's a Beta legend.

The answer depends if you can successfully break away from her frame and return to yours. If you cannot, next it and take some lessons to your next opportunity

Your response should be that you want to make sure you're sexually compatible before committing to a serious relationship. On a side note, you're much too young to be in a serious relationship. College is for discovering yourself, having a good time, and making friends you'll know for the rest of your life.

If this is your dream job, why are you even contemplating this? Dipping your pen in the company ink is never a good idea. The mere appearance of you two "fucking" can cause major problems for your career. I'd cool off the communication with her at a minimum.

Take a deep breath and let it play out. I'm sure it will be fine and you can have a laugh about it later

Put one arm around his back / shoulder and tug on his earlobe with your other hand and just smile. Or, just smile and walk away. Not that big of a deal here OP.

Well done keeping your focus and cool in the midst of her shenanigans. School is priority one.

Get a lawyer and divorce. Your wife is bat shit crazy. Life's too short.

Some of the information and lessons can also be applied to career, friendships, and non-romantic relationships. Like anything else, you'll need to choose what works best for you and a particular situation.

It's over. You sealed that by stepping outside of the relationship. Move along to the next opportunity.

Came here to say Tucson. My advice would be to stay in the south to avoid the harsh winters. The campuses in the winter and spring in AZ are filled with plenty of talent

I don't think your close was all that bad. It achieved the outcome you wanted and that's all that matters. Good job OP.

Best advice I can give you is to not give any advice to your friend. It's typically not well received and won't help in any manner. If she's a little impulsive anyway, he might just be into her for fun and not considering anything serious anyway.

Pretty good advice here. The key, both professionally and socially, is to get out and around as many people as you can. Even if you have to go solo, it shouldn't be for too long as you'll start to associate with people that have common interests and goals. Never too late. Keep moving forward one step at a time.

Silence is the best response. Let her make the next move and if there is none, move along to the next opportunity.

Dump them. Preferably over social media. Never air dirty laundry over social media.

Dancers usually are a notch or two above the rest and can be a lot of fun. Watch out for their feet though... They can be pretty rough. The key here is your self aware and you are thinking about your interactions with her in real time. At some point, and it should be very soon, you just need to go for it and escalate to the next level. If she rejects you, don't see this as a failure. Escalation will be a victory for you and give you a boost in confidence.

It would help if we knew what your endgame with this girl is. You said you went scorched earth as far as contact with her last year. I'd continue that policy

If you can't close, move along to the next opportunity. When one door shuts, another will open.

You've already lost a year. I think you're dealing with a troll as the others suggested. That was my first thought. I too have been "rocking chats" or whatever you said since the late 80s and there's a higher probability you're interacting with an obese, male, forty-something than a 10.

I hope by dancer you mean ballet or something equivalent. If it's a stripper, run away unless you're the Captain Save-A-Ho type.

I think you might be reading too much into it. I don't see this as controlling and trying to keep tabs on you, unless of course she has other behaviors that might confirm your assumption. That said, if it bothers you that much, just ignore it. I do that quite often myself.

Sounds like you got a fake number. I'd call her just to confirm my own morbid curiosity. Good work though.

Exactly. If you enjoy playing and do it in moderation, there's no issue. The same can be said of many things in life.

This is probably contrary to the popular opinion here, but the name of the game is too ignore the bullshit. Whether you call it drama, hamstering, etc, that's the part where you need to maintain your frame and pay no mind to it. I don't think you need to ignore women, go weeks in between communication, or use texting ONLY for scheduling dates etc. You DO NOT need to respond to every single text or communication especially if it's BS. Find the right balance that works for you. I think you're on t…

/r/askTRP26/10/14 07:19 PM

How old are you?
/r/askTRP

You may never get over it 100%. The key is to realize that it's a big world with many interesting women to meet. Replace the oneitis with something else and the oneitis becomes a nice memory versus an obsession.
/r/askTRP

How did you screw up? You "thought I already had won her over". I didn't read anything even remotely suggesting this. You danced, kissed a little, and got a phone number. That's a typical night out at the club. Regardless, you should always be escalating / closing which you did none of. WTF is it with you kids and the group dates? Avoid completely. Next her. She's already nexted you.
/r/askTRP

Sounds a little far. But it might be worth it if you can leverage the trip into other activities or ladies. If not, I'd say look closer to home.
