My bullshit tingles started happening right when I read "I have four plates including my ex". "Important point: She was still physically attracted to me and wanted sex. It was her emotional connection that was severed. I feel this is something that gets overlooked often in the manosphere. A woman can want to fuck your brains out, but no longer trust that you can provide her what she needs in a relationship. She will leave you to become single if you start slipping as a secure, self-assured, masc…

My son will be able to reassure me that he is in a safe environment when he is with her. I don't care what she does in her personal life and I would never ask him about this. Based on your comment I would assume you do not have children. Caring about their well-being and having concerns who they are around and what they are exposed to is not hamstering. Its called being a parent.

Will definitely keep an eye out for this. thank you.

I agree with this as well, I think there would be bruises if he messed with her but I also don't believe that she fell down stairs. I am pretty confident she is lying about that even if this had nothing to do with her guy being abusive.

I already have full custody, however she still has our son a week every month and still takes him a few days here and there. I have also already taken photos of the stairs and documented the conversations we have had about it. Still great advice and I appreciate the input.

fantastic doesn't even begin to do it justice. No exaggeration most sessions would easily last 1-2 hours. We would sit on the bed afterwards just going "wtf is wrong with us?" it was some next level shit.

There were definitely some red flags here. Lots of gaslighting, some of the blowups were completely irrational. Making me out to look like a complete monster to friends during breakups, etc etc. Every time I thought about giving this woman more commitment and letting her "make an honest man out of me" she would do something insane that made me pull back enough to avoid total commitment, just not enough to make me fully ghost her. She would constantly throw shit tests during both good and bad tim…

I will PM you at some point. This was one of the most well thought out and clear responses I have ever gotten to anything. You really hit the nail on the head with so much of this. Thank you for such an awesome post. Your insight is truly appreciated.

You are right on the money with pretty much everything you are saying. Really appreciate the thoughtful post. My biggest issue was that we simply grew closer as time went on. Almost the entire first year we never had our kids hang out and we never spent time with each others kids. It was always just the two of us. Once it happened the first/second time (I felt like she had eventually earned it and I knew I couldn't just make her feel like a piece of meat all the time) we started getting comforta…

To be fair, there was never any active cheating going on during times we were "together". When we started the LTR "officially" It was her and only her. Once she found out I had been non exclusive (during the first few months when we had agreed to be NON EXCLUSIVE) she lost her shit and broke up with me. We would break up, id spin plates, then we would eventually start talking again as days/weeks went by. Many of the pictures she found were just pictures of girls during times we weren't even toge…

When I left my house to go to the gym I had accessed my email on the computer not knowing it was logged into the Guest account that I normally allow her to use. I am normally always using my own login on my own username, then logout. I was just rushing and not paying attention.

I appreciate your post. Fortunately for me she's not even going through the steps to get the bio father to pay child support. They were never living with me, her daughter would just visit and have play dates from time to time. Hardly enough to claim me as the adoptive father. She is also aware I have much more legal experience than her given my divorce and own custody battle. She never went through any of this with her BD simply because he just bounced and she let him go. Never put him on suppor…

great analysis. I am pretty inexperienced when it comes to threesomes (ive only had two before this) and I wasn't sure how to tread water, especially given the fact that I already made a pretty bold move with how I initiated it. Was doing what I could to not disrupt the flow of things, as I assumed it would happen and never expected the walkout that occurred. Once all the drama happened HB8 was asleep on the couch when I came back upstairs and I just went to bed.

Will do. Was definitely paying more attention to her actions than her barrage of insane words.

We were talking for about 6 months before she became LTR. been LTR for about 4-5 months. So maybe a year I guess? All I know is that once we became LTR she wasn't very good at hiding the crazy.

very valid point here. thank you. I have an extremely BP upbringing so even though I can logically know what to do, where to stand, and how to look at it, I always have tons of guilt for putting myself first. (irish catholic) Been something I have been working on for years now.

I guess I frame it that way because I decided on my own to give the whole monogamy LTR thing a shot with this girl. I was able to deal with her shit and the rewards were great. Submissive, always available, had plenty of good times, also had a low N count. Other options are nice but I'm 30 with a daughter and with my busy schedule I preferred keeping her around vs searching for partners. She usually comes back after a blowup, but I have never seen a blowup from her of this magnitude.

Big downside is getting one of them pregnant. I do what I can to prevent this but they all have the same end game. They are always putting on constant pressure for the "next step". The problem with mine is that she fucks my brains out and blows me so often that I don't pick up on it.

Go see an endo. under 400 is low unless you're in your 70s or 80s. Ask your doctor for a referral.

Since I started following TRP after my divorce my life has improved substantially. I relate with much of the advice on here, and I try to use the sidebar as a way of keeping myself out of trouble and to continue to learn and better myself as a man. I have a tendency to fall back into BP mindset especially when I start finding myself enjoying somebody's company too much. Doing everything that "I" want to do has gotten me into trouble before, and I've been better off avoiding certain situations ev…

I may have been off by mentioning that, but he told me he's already been arrested for assault before, so with a domestic violence call I would assume he's the first person they would remove from the home. She would 100% not hesitate to tell the cops that he hit her based on what he has told me. I should have elaborated.

I have never hung out with him outside of work and I have never intended to. He's a pretty negative person and overall I want nothing to do with him on a personal level. When he first asked me to crash at my house I flat out refused and told him he needs to get his shit together. If he ever texts me outside of anything work related I don't respond.

I don't see him outside of work. Hes asked me to let him crash at my place before and I have flat out refused and said he needs to reach out to family. Dude is a total mess of a human being. The only reason I sat down and gave him advice that one time was because I was sincerely worried about the welfare of his child.

He told me that she cheated on him two years ago with one of his friends. I told him he should get a DNA test to see if his kid is his. He laughed at me and told me I was being ridiculous.

Currently in a very similar situation ATM. Divorced, majority custody of my son. I think the most important thing is that you stick to the advice here and continue to just keep being productive every single day. You might feel like you are "over" your ex wife, but the shit you went through in that relationship might be putting you through shit in your new one. I don't necessarily think you fucked up with the 32 year old. Just because she thinks she deserves all this shit from you doesn't make yo…

I am so glad you did a post on this. Such an important part of everything we talk about here every single day and a point that is not stressed enough. When my friends tell me they're getting married, this is the only point I ever make that seems to resonate with them. In addition, also recognize LTBWA "Let the bitch walk away"

I read NMMNG and I thought it would really help him. Unfortunately he wouldn't even allow himself to think he is one, and he would probably just ignore the shit.

I really can't stand idea that if you're single that means there is something inherently "wrong with you". My own mother gives me shit for not staying with my shitbird of an ex wife, and gives all my brothers shit for not having tied the knot yet. I feel terrible for your friend, but honestly with that much money he should learn how to be smarter with it.

I appreciate the honestly. I have never exclusively mentioned TRP to him, just some theory and ideas about women I've read about. Unfortunately I definitely feel like he needs to get smashed by this before he is open to fully listening and changing his ways. He is fighting to keep his BP lifestyle alive and I see the battle going on in himself on a weekly basis.

This is honestly the point I see myself getting to with my friends after the conversation today. It sucks but you're absolutely right.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
