It's OK and typical to lose your nerve. But you should be creating a habit to talk to everyone, men and women. Finding wing men to support you is always a plus. And it's not easy to find good wingmen, you sort of have to do it same as finding a girlfriend . Just talk to lots of men. I've also found wingmen here on Reddit before but it's incredibly rare. I've picked up plenty of men at the bar, ie got their digits and made plans to hang out. Way easier than women lol. But men can help build a fri…

I'm way too out of the game to give you advice about online dating. What is going to distinguish you from every other online chud is to approach, approach, approach offline. A lot of men out there are too shy, timid, whatever to approach offline. If you can learn to not be like them, to the victor go the spoils.

Get the fuck out of your comfort zone. Adapt or die. Learn to find new interests if your old interests aren't helping your life. Learn to love and cherish more people, including "normies", and that means lowering some ridiculous standard that you're only aiming for some unicorn 10 out of 10.

Getting male friends is the easier task. Go to some bar and just starting talking to men. If you can't do this you'll never pull it off with women. Or join a sports club. Meet people there and befriend them. Put yourself out there. Propose plans. Get rejected. Or succeed. Or find some passion project. Maybe it's art or politics or charity. None of this is easy especially if you have significant social anxiety. Simple fact is, adapt or die. Embrace the fact that you will get rejected. embrace the…

10 years out of the game. 5'4". All of the typical advice helps. Go out. Do solo. Get good wingmen. Join clubs. Join sports clubs. Tailor your dating profile. Get the help from your friends that are girls. Have female friends. Have male friends. Embrace rejection as an inevitability for success. Be confident. Be honest with women that you are a sexual being. Get the fuck out there every goddamn weekend. Be funny. Be rich. be fun to be around. Or be reliable. Be her rock. Work out. You can't grow…

Have you tried a dating coach or one of those pick up seminars? Have you tried finding a group of pick up artists? Have you tried finding some good wingmen? Have you read any alternative pickup lit than just Models? If you're literally considering suicide, there's a lot more you can be doing to improve your game first. One thing is that pickup is way easier when you're having fun. Go out with some good wingmen who know what the fuck they're doing.

And no woman has ever shown any sexual interest in you? I find that surprising, you sound pretty hot to me! No any interest even from ladies at your church?? No interest ever in your entire life? What explicitly do you want? I have never seen a random girl and had been attracted to her. Attraction comes rarely to me, and only towards very close friends. In my uninformed opinion perhaps your standards are just way too high? You want an extreme level of comfort established before you can consider …

That's one problem, if you want something more sexual you need to communicate something more sexual and not platonic. I'm getting mixed messages from you right now, I don't understand what you want for example. I have asked out hundreds of girls You weren't sexually attracted to any of these people? What is your standard of attraction? Do you want a beautiful woman? If not, what do you want? and at 27, nearly everyone is married and I likely missed my chance. You are plenty young. I met my spous…

Unfortunately I'm not you. It sounds like you're satisfied then with platonic friendship? Just go out and obtain that desire. I've used Reddit to find friends. Or I've just gone to the bar and chatted up strangers. Or I can just knock on the door of my neighbor with a gift of beer, or cookies, or whatever. It's normal to be scared to do these things. How will they react? What if they think I'm disgusting, unlikeable, etc etc? Well that's their problem. They can politely decline and you can move …

Meh compete or be forever alone. It's your choice. Take control of your self. Or be forever driven by your anxieties. If it was just about genuine connection where's all your male friends? Which, by the way you should be going out to meet too. If you can't pick up male friends , I'm being serious here, no chance in hell you can pick up a woman. But you're also driven by sexual desire. There's nothing wrong with that. But be honest with yourself, and the women that you meet, that you have sexual …

Small correction. It's not female nature. It's human nature. Let's not pretend men don't do the same damn things on a whim. Maybe I caught a whiff of a smell I don't like. Maybe she said something I didn't like to hear. The reason is simple. He or she just wasn't attractive enough. The attraction hung on a knife edge and then you did something that went over the edge.

Force yourself to go out and about every weekend at least. Get some hobbies outside of work. my hectic work life Life is about tradeoffs. If your work is forcing you to do 60 hour weeks, well, they're not really forcing you. You can always quit. You can always request reduced hours and accept the consequences that come out of that. If you're running out of time to meet girls, the solution is obvious. Make more time by making some tradeoffs in your life. There is much overinformation on this sub …

That's not a valid excuse and a bad metaphor. You're not missing a leg. You have all the mental faculties that extroverts have. Your personality inclinations ARE NOT your "true self". You create your true self. If you are bad at something, like many things in life you need more practice. You're not disabled, so don't pretend that you are. You can practice talking to people. The only thing stopping you is some irrational fear.

This and obvious. MAKE MORE FRIENDS. You're not going to get a girlfriend if you can't even get a man friend. And also get female friends that are friends first. An ideal man has many friends. An ideal man is out going out with his friends of all sorts. This works in multiple ways. First, people you meet have friends who you can meet. Second, people you meet want to hang out and will massively help your night game. They provide moral support and social proof. They make game more fun.

In high school and college I looked like I was in middle school. I've always looked young for my age. My choice of employment, engineering, means little to no interaction with women. So I worked on what I thought were my deficiencies. Get the courage to talk to strangers. Try to create a more mature looking body. I think working out helped a lot. Many women I've been with love to mention my body. I also don't think of it as a shallow pursuit. Being stronger isn't merely skin deep. There are posi…

Meh what isn't "superficial"? Your looks, your personality, the money you make, your class, your height, are all intrinsic parts of yourself that have led to great consequences throughout your life. A lot of this shit you didn't earn on your own merits, you won the genetic lottery. And the rest of the stuff you earned, a lot of that is oftentimes considered "superficial" too. Meh if a man has the balls to do 100 approaches a month, his win rate is going to get a lot better than just 1%. The problem I see is that the vast majority of men are unable to do it, because of their FEAR. Instead you're going to go to the bar and because you're scared, you're going to sip on your drink and approach nobody like a sap.

Source2 analyzes a single name change from Erin to Mac.... I didn't even realize that Erin was a female name. I don't have a bone in this fight but at least Source2 is less compelling than OP's anecdote. Source1 is an HR company. Definitely a biased source.

Fear is a natural response. You're obviously a beginner so I would advise you to browse the numerous resources on the side bar. Your fear will be reduced when you train something into a habit.

Unfortunately I can't give you any good advice about that. However, I was listening to some podcast and they brought up a book about changing your habits: https://www.tinyhabits.com/book The gist is, to change a habit, you need to perform the habit and then give yourself immediate feedback, like telling yourself "Nice job!". Immediate feedback is key to reinforcing some sort of reward pathway in your brain. Anyways maybe this book will be interesting for you and your goals.

Here's my opinions: Be physically attractive. Work out, have a good physique. Study after study shows that men really care about looks. Online dating. If you have good photos you're going to be bombarded. You need a good filter system to select out "the best". Also consider a wild card selection from time-to-time. Finding a man in-real-life that you desire -- Go to clubs, political clubs, sports clubs, the gym, parties, etc. Strike up a conversation. If the man is interested he's going to pursue…

If your hair is worrying you that much just shave it all off. Problem solved. Hit the gym, get a barrel chest/arms/back and a huge neck. Get big. Ugly buff men are attractive.

Probably should read the side bar. Long story short, be interesting, hit the gym, and take every shot. Way harder to do than say. When you're pining about a missed opportunity you're doing it wrong. Create your opportunities. Create so many opportunities you'll never have to reminisce about missed shots again.

Maybe you can ask some of your female and male friends to look over your online conversations give you some feedback. This requires some openness to admit some of your weaknesses, but in my opinion it could be worth it. As other people have said your biggest problem is your inability to handle rejection. Just like anything else in the world this is something you can improve. Go out to the world and start getting rejected. Ask for things, get rejected, thank the person for the rejection, and move on. That's the best way to conquer your fear. Expose yourself to your fears and learn to cope with it. Moreover I advise you to get back into online dating. Something around of 80% of modern couples found their partner …

Be honest. You're new in town and you're: Looking for new male friends. Looking for new female friends. Go hit those clubs/bars solo, introduce yourself, tell them you're new in town. From there on you can use the other advice you see around here. Being new in town is actually a great opportunity, and great excuse to get out there. It's always nice to establish a new friend circle. Do that in conjunction with your pickup activities.

IMO it gets better. A man's 30's are his prime. I don't think it's a bad thing to have focused on school or fitness in your 20's. Those are all great habits that will help you right now. Start "seduction" right now and you won't have regret. My anecdote: I really amped up my game last year, early 30's, did the cold approaches and online dating, and it's all worked out. It took about 4 months of cold approaches and online dating to get a LTR. A huge help was finding some good wingmen, and some go…

I'd say I have a 90%+ rejection rate. On the other hand, that's 1 number or date for every 10-20 approaches. That means you can reliably get a date every weekend. A rejection only takes 5 minutes of your time. No reason not to do it.

Nope, the point of the book was that genes are selfish, not necessarily humans... For example an altruistic gene would select for itself as well as kin that share that gene. Moreover the book goes over strategic advantages of altruism, reciprocity and cooperation. It also talks about how different strategies exist together in balance. Too many assholes is unstable. Too many pushovers is instable.

Fear of success is the same thing, different excuse. Everyone will have a different rationalization why they shouldn't approach. The only way to get rid of any fear is to expose yourself to it again and again until you are acclimated. Well then the solution is obvious. Approach again and again until you no longer fear success.

Mmm I'm personally not a big date planner. She like bars? Just ask her if she wants to hang out at XXX hole in the wall. Or coffee. Or whatever. If she likes you she'll say yes or or respond very positively. If you've been "friend zoned" there's a good chance "she's busy". In that case you need to move on. There's nothing wrong with being just friends, but go look for romantic interests else where. There's plenty of girls in the world, and the more reliant and needy you are towards only one, the…

Some rule of thumbs you'll see around here. Guys who only approach perfect 10's are also called virgins. Would you have sex with her? Yes? Then you need to approach her. The perfect time to approach is right now. The very moment you see a woman you'd like to fuck, you need to go talk to her. And if you've missed that moment, the second best time to approach is now. The longer you dawdle, the harder it is, especially for newbies. See an attractive woman? Go right for her, as soon as possible. Rea…

Also I'm personal a big fan of "rejection therapy" - going around and just getting rejected. I have a lot of approach anxiety. The first couple times I went out for "day game" I did absolutely nothing because I was filled with fear. Unfortunately the way to get rid of fear is to expose yourself to that fear. IMO the best crutch is to get friends or like-minded allies (you know, like wingmen) to encourage you to approach and exert social pressure. Unfortunately it's not an easy task to find peopl…

Because your post is slightly bent towards blaming feminism for our world's problems. Come on. Most modern feminism is merely women acting as a self interested voting block, as is their right. Society throughout the ages has used various hierarchies to oppress men. I also prefer Western "feminized" society to say, the fucking Middle East.

And you prefer the good old days when men ruled the country and were more than happy to send your ass to the front lines to get mowed down by machine gun fire? Times have fucking changed. Women are in the workforce so standards have changed, including seeing women as co-workers rather than just sexual objects. As with any era, the men, and women, who learn to adapt to the challenges of the times win out. It's not like sex and dating were magically so much easier in "the good old days". Real alph…

Fuck that. Lots of men will never get any "clear signs" except for a top echelon of extremely physically attractive men. The choice for the rest of us is to be forever alone, or to approach women that aren't giving clear indicators of interest. Or wait forever for that 0.01% of women that will give you that clear sign.

You need to understand that you need to fail. You need to accept rejection. You need to be rejected. Go out and ask for a rejection, as simple as "hello. I think you're cute. can I get your phone number?" And get rejected. Push the boundaries by asking women for phone numbers, for dates, asking them for something, and accepting their no. Get rejected again and again. Embrace it. Because you actually won't be. Because 1 out of 10 rejections is actually a yes and a date. Learn this skill and you w…

Don't expect women to reciprocate interest. Just assume they're interested. Lots of women won't ever show you their interest even when they are. You can test their interest easily by things like: Moving to a different location - "Want to check out X bar?" "Want to check out my Y at my place?" Explicitly asking her out - "Want to go out to Y some time?" And if you fuck it up, well, you need to learn to handle failure because you're going to fail a lot. Just go ahead and fail. Considering that most pickup "research" has little to no scientific backing and is almost all bro science, and even worse, a social science.... Well it's bro social science. Probably the least rigorous field in the world. The one true law of seduction is that you miss every shot you don't take (hell even this line isn't always true). Everything else IMO will vary from person to person, culture to culture, dependent on context and social setting.

The problem is no amount of videos or rationalizations will help you overcome your irrational fear. There are baby steps: Like minded friends, PUA's, and coaches that can exert social pressure on you to approach. Challenges like asking for the time. Go around and ask strangers for the time. Favor challenges. Go around and ask random people for ridiculous favors. Get rejected and thank them for their time. I don't see myself as a million dollars. That's why this rejection thing works for me. It's a pessimist's method of playing the numbers game. The other thing that has helped me tremendously, that I didn't mention, is getting a group of like minded people together to approach. Social pressure also does wonders in encouraging you to talk to women.

High school can really suck. Some people's high point of their lives will be at high school. For others, it will be their worst experience. Anyways, a good way to make friends is to join some extracurricular clubs. Just go sign up for whatever remotely interests you (they're also great for college apps). Band, orchestra, sports, art, math-club, whatever. Any excuse to hang out with your peers is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. If you want to put yourself out there, don't be …

Now Nietzsche may be a fine philosopher, but he got friendzoned pretty bad (by two women, Cosima Wagner and Lou Salome whom he proposed marriage and got rejected) and was probably a forever-aloner. I've read the paper and it's not like Salon. Any good researcher realizes their studies' limitations, as does this one. All terminology is very clearly defined. Unfortunately I don't have a link for you. What the fuck are you talking about? The researchers developed a poll to test for 3 particular strategies as advocated by a particular pickup artist called Mystery. The researchers found that women who were sexist (as in conformed to typical gender roles) were far more receptive to Mystery's tactics by their own admission. Notably, the paper only analyzes 3 particular tactics as advocated by Mystery. That is the paper's fucking scope. They say nothing about other tactics.

I read the paper which was posted to seduction months ago. As every good researcher does, they clearly define exactly what they mean by misogyny and sexism. What you're reading is the filtered bullshit from a middle man information source known as salon.com. The methedology is explored fully in the paper, as are the limitations of the research.

OP. You have no idea what a truly unattractive man is. Typical "western male attractiveness" is well defined: V-shaped, muscular body. Tall. "Masculine" face - square, defined jaw. Notice what I didn't say. "Pretty", "symmetrical" faces. That doesn't fucking matter at all. If you don't think physical appearances of men don't matter, you don't know what you're talking about. Appearances matter, a lot. Johnny Knoxville is incredibly sexy because he fits the bill of all traditional markers of attra…

If you have the stamina and ability to hit on 50 girls a night and go home with one, that's already excellent progress. For me, a girl will give me the "eye" perhaps once every month of going out, if I'm lucky. And then after giving me the look, I have to still to the approach and not bomb out. But now I'm green as shit because I'm not approaching girls (and thus out of practice); I'm going to look like an idiot and bomb with the girl. Even assuming I have 100% success rate with the girl that "g…

Just an amateur here, but where did you get those numbers? From some guru, or from experience? '' That seems very low if PU gurus can only pull 5% of approaches. Hell, I'd be happy as a larp with 2% success rate, but I'm no guru.

It seriously works much better. When I go out with friends, I can maybe do 1 or 2 approaches. However, my friends, they're great, but not-so-great for PU. They're too afraid to approach, and their anxiety transfers to my anxiety, especially since I'm a beginner. I have 1 other friend who is actually committed to game. I went out with him last weekend and we did 10 great approaches together. We motivated each other to push to our limits.

Texting is weaksauce game. Typically I use texts/phone only to set up future meeting dates. Too much text and you come off as too needy. Keep her wanting more by not texting so much, and much more importantly, actually having things to do so you're busy with other things in your life. As far as being a social failure: in college, there are 2 things (among many) that matter: Be physically attractive. This means looks, clothes, gyms, etc. Be the man. This means you're the one inviting people out. …

No idea, but for example, where I live, Austin, TX, there are several pick-up lairs in town, none of which are affiliated or linked on Reddit. You can try using the SEDDIT LOCATOR on the sidebar with lackluster results. Here's my take: If you go out to the bars, and you're doing it right, even soloing, you can number close 1 or 2 guys. Yes. Number close guys. These will be your friends. Invite strangers who you think are cool, using the typical pickup strategies optimized for men, to get friends and get a crew. I'm not going to pretend I can do this every night. I agree with most of your points, but I also believe most people in r/seduction would agree with you as well. There are many components of PU that are egotistical, self-centered, borderline psychopath. This is not a coincidence. The unfortunate reality is that many women like these sort of behaviors. Many women want to be controlled and manipulated, and particularly seek out mates who do so. And unsurprisingly, male psychopaths and violent criminals frequently do much better with women than the …

Acronyms are used to make conversation faster and easier. Do you give engineers and scientists shit for using acronyms? We use them not because we want to appear "cool" or "smart". We use acronyms because it's easier than typing the entire phrase over and over and over again. If a girl even questions if you are gay, it is a good sign. That means she's thinking about you, and who you are. That means she's interested. A girl won't ask a guy she doesn't like if he's gay or not. IMO, being asked if you're gay is an IOI. Why do you think it's so dishonest, that men are becoming more confident and attractive to the opposite sex? Is it dishonest because the "seductionist" is more aware of social interactions and the underlying politics of sex and attraction, and he exploits this awareness for his personal gain? A typical seduction strategy is to make sure the woman understands the relationship between you and her early on - sexualize interactions as quickly as possible. Being short is a handicap (I'm 5'4"). Not everyone has become a master pickup artist. Yes, I'm new to the game and kino does work. Very well. Start with arm touches. Notice how your female friends touch you. Notice how your guy friends touch you. Hand touches are more intimate. Should touches are more intimidating. Elbow touches are relatively neutral and are a good one to start with. Or do a little "bump shoulders" with each other. Anyways try it out. Try it out on men, women, everyone.

Why would anyone want to be in a relationship where the both of you do not regard each other as equals? Such love inequalities will eventually break down into resentment. I sure as hell don't make guys my best friend whom I don't treat as equals. But you'd do the same for the only you'll fucking marry?????

It's pretty easy to convince your friends to go downtown, but they may not necessarily be very good wingmen. Out of my friends, I got one who I eventually trained to become a decent wingman (too bad he's on vacation now). But not all your friends share the same goals as you, so obviously not everyone is down for going clubbing or whatever all the time. But yah it doesn't hurt to ask at all. Your friends will be happy that you've invited them to go do something.

I've told all my friends. They don't really care. I think the world would be a better place if more nerds/geeks became better with women, overpowering the jocks in the eternal struggle for domination. As far as getting your friends involved, it's doubtful if they even want to commit to such self improvement. It took a long process of self-realization before I truly realized how horrible I was with women. Just like any other technique that requires training, telling people of its existence will n…

I have a lot of daygame fear too. Something about being out in the open for everyone to see makes it much more intimidating for me. Yet nobody bitches about engineers or scientists using their respective jargon? Face it, jargon is useful. Much easier to say HB7 than "that cute girl that I really liked and would like to approach". No those kinds are usually greedy assholes who are in it for the money. Then there are plenty of therapists who are in it to help as many people as possible. In fact, my roommates are both therapists/social workers who are resigned to the fact that they won't ever make a lot of money, but at least they will be helping people and thus doing something they love. More expensive does not always mean better. Sometimes it's just good to talk to someone else with a different perspective.

I am not a good looking guy. I'm short and effeminate. I'm terrible at pickup. But after 6 months of practice, I've finally gotten to the point where some girls willingly and happily want to talk to me or even grind on me. One of the most important things is to make sure you're really having fun. Be truly happy without the need for girls, and the girls ironically will want you.

I read from a book about body language is that laughter can be a form of submission and nervousness. For example, in the movies, when some white collar straight is about to get killed by the mobsters, he's always nervously laughing. We laugh when we are confused. We laugh when we don't know what to do. We laugh when we are not in control Obviously this is not the only reason people laugh, but it's one you should be aware of.

Attractiveness isn't just about looks. It's about the whole package of what draws women towards particular men. It's not just looks - It's about power, charisma, influence, value. Why are you attracted towards "well-dressed" men? Our fashion is a way to show off our class and power - to show off where we belong in the social hierarchy. You discriminating by fashion is a good way to filter out poorer, lower-class men. You can't dress up in a nice, sophisticated suit if you can't afford it. It's o…

The fact is that being a "nice guy" is only icing on the cake for women. It's an extra feature. But you won't buy the cake that's not attractive. You'll never go for the nice guys who aren't attractive. Just like being a "nice girl" quite honestly won't do much for a man. It might make a man want to befriend the girl. But it won't make him want to fuck her.

It's a classic hollywood movie: Main characters learn to be themselves, that beautiful women will see their true virtue behind their fat, unattractive bodies. That average joes will always get the beautiful girls because of their inner virtue, and because the movie shows an asshole strawman who is an arrogant asshole and is bad with women. And as usual, the movie ends with the men chasing after the girl, proclaiming his love through slapstick comedy, and they get together happily ever after.

Even if she really just wants to be just friends, it's not at bad thing at all. Being friend-zoned is only bad if your prospects are so terrible that your few friends are your only shot. Even with my mediocre kino, approach anxiety, etc, I can feel that my respect among women has grown exponentially since getting into the game and reading up…

Thanks for the advice. One problem was that I arrived a little early (wasn't too familiar with the town) to the date, got bored. Went back to the car to read Moby Dick. I wasn't too familiar with the Chinatown scene too, unfortunately. Perhaps picking a more familiar meeting place would be wise in the future.

"Cute" depends on the context. Sometimes "cute" is a kiss of death, signifying that she sees you as so feminine and beta that she uses it as she would describe a baby, or a puppy, or an adorable little grandma. As a 23 yr old who looks (or looked) like he was 15, I got this shit all the time. You don't want that crap. If a girl ever uses this kind of tone on you, you've definitely fucked up. Changing her mind from labeling you as harmless to stud will take work.

Why are you on this subreddit if all you're going to do is bitch at concepts you don't understand? Go read a book. Pickup is about understanding people, especially women.

"playful"? Yah, playful to you. Negs to friends are used to probe their psychological defenses.. It's like play fighting, but with your talk instead. Negs with your friends is meant to built up each other's psychological resilience as play fighting with your friends is meant to build up your actual fighting skills. You wouldn't neg the President of the United States. You wouldn't neg your boss. You wouldn't neg your parents. You don't neg these people because they are on top of the social hierar…

Oh yes, making backhanded compliments is so respectful of women. It's a move used to elevate your social position above hers, in her eyes. Extremely respectful. So are reward/punish routines.

I have no problems with women. I just realize now that they are just as shallow as I am. Just feel a little stupid for believing otherwise for a long time. EDIT: The point is this - respect doesn't get you laid. Attractiveness does. EDIT2: And I don't get why my statements are so controversial? What the hell do you think a neg is?? It's certainly not about respect.

I've been an AFC all my life, with no problems talking to girls in strictly platonic ways with no pretenses of sex or ulterior motives. And lemme tell you, it doesn't fucking work, especially if you're personally not so attractive yourself. I never stumbled upon a girl like in some shitty romantic comedy, because I never pursued any. You can make plenty of friends but very little sex. Those dudes bullshitting away, well, they may people feel like shit but they're also getting laid. You treat gir…

See you don't get it. Sex quite literally is about life and death. It's only the process used to create new humans and undergo an important new step in the human lifespan. The fears and pleasures we get from sex and relationships have evolved precisely because of the importance of sex. The reason why we are all in this subreddit because we all recognize the importance of sex. Seriously, why the fuck are we all here??? Why do we devote hours of time in PUA training??? Technology has only mitigate…

That's absurd. Sex, one of the most important acts we humans engage in, is all about ethics. A hundred years ago, sex was about life and death. Impregnating a girl could have meant killing her in childbirth. Sleeping around too much causes disease and thus is rightly seen as dirty. Sex is the act that literally creates life. And you don't think sex is worthy enough to consider with your own moral behavior???? Why the fuck do you think Puritans and Christians care so much about sex??? Because dee…

Good job. But note that in a work environment, if you go off sleeping around too much you will get labelled a player, and that will affect your future prospects negatively. Unlike in a bar, you're going to be around these people for a while, and it can get really awkward... a perfect formula for workplace drama.

There's one interesting statistic in here, that supposedly asians make up ~30% of the PUA market. Quite unusually high.

No I was wrong my original post was way too strong. It was basically "Women have more to lose in rape because of pregnancy. Men suffer less consequences in rape." Then I added a bit about "if men can get it up during rape" which I'm sure pissed off more people. But I got pissed that most people downvoted the shit out of me instead of making coherent argument. And that people would just continue the downvote frenzy and make me not able to post. But some people actually made coherent conversation …

Yes the statement is sexist. But probably the majority of Americans believe in these gender roles. These gender roles have also been reinforced through thousands of years of history. I disagree that it's the same as "telling a woman to fix up a sandwich". Women have proved in the last 100 years to be as competent as men in all things business and economics and science. Yet gender roles not yet made obsolete by technology still remain. The majority of women I know, though professionally competent…

Yes it would be physically traumatic if the man was penetrated. However the same risk also applies to women. But also most societies expect males to be able to defend themselves. In our society, men are expected to be emotionally hardened and able to withstand abuse. I'm also sure that you're heard of studies (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/26934.php) which state that women are more physically sensitive than men and thus react more strongly to pain? Yes, I am overgeneralizing, but it's…

I always agreed to it. The point was that physically, women have additional things to worry about.

Wow I'm just going to have to comment on this because this has gotten to ridiculous proportions. I said something of ideological opposition to many redditors and have be en downvoted to oblivion. It is now affecting my ability to post. I in no way said that male rape was not a crime or not traumatic. It is a crime and it is traumatic (People incorrectly implied that from my first post). I put forth the proposition that females may suffer a little more because of their ability to be impregnated b…
