Just wanted to contribute a FR even though my "game" is no where near that of other folks around here.

So 20 yr old HB#1 whom I haven't talked to in months messages me on facebook how she wants to hang out and invites me to her birthday party/dinner. Things go well as I try to be the life of the party (considering that the party was a bunch of college freshmen whose social skills are apparently worse than mine, I think was achieved relatively well). Lots of the kids are too timid to talk to strangers so I'm able to dominate the dinner table fairly well. I strike up a good conversations with HB#1's roommate and sister; unfortunately the table is not conducive for me to violate target's personal space.

Anyways later I excuse myself to go catch up with a couple of old college buddies whom I haven't seen in ages, but I text her and ask her to hang out in Chinatown the next day. She agrees.

The date is a disaster. AFC habits come back out. We browse around some crazy Japanese store and eat some icecream and talk. I pussy out on the kino escalation; her body language is distant and she drops no IOI's. Eventually she decides to leave but texts back "It was fun! See you soon." I take this as a sign of "Let's just be friends".

My Inner game and Outer game sucked. I think I know all the things I did wrong and what I need to improve but I want to post anyways just for the sake of contributing back to the community.

My analysis of the situation is this:

  • I'm suffering way too much from one-itis, decreasing my own social value. Obvious cure: get on sarging.

  • I had reservations on violating personal space. Obvious cure: Get rid of those reservations.

  • My behavior isn't alpha enough to build quick attraction. Target senses my beta-ness and is repulsed. Perhaps my physical attractiveness isn't good enough yet either. Cure: More experience, more squats/presses.

But yah I suck at this, but I'm working on it!
