So I solo'd for the first time last night. I was pretty nervous going out alone as I rode downtown on my bike.

I set myself a goal for how many girls I would approach. As a beginner, I set this number low: 4 sets.

I start off when some bar and approach the first set - a bunch of chicks at a bachelorette party. Talk for a bit, no interest. Bail. Then I open this random dude. Turns out he's from out of town, we decide to go barhopping around.

Long story short, as the night comes along I manage to open like ~10 sets! I also talked to some other random guy, and he thought I was so awesome that he asked for my number so we could hang out later! I also try my first time with a little kino on the dance floor. I talk up to a HB6 (no, not the best looker) and do some ridiculous dance moves.

Whatever, chicks dig ridiculous dance moves and she reciprocates by doing a little jig of her own. I take her by her hips and do a little dancing. I think she liked it! Oh well.

So yah I'm a newb all I can do is number close a dude but better than nothing!

And one nice thing about solo'ing is that because I have no obligation to entertain my buds, the number of approaches goes way up.
