Question: How to pick your targets?

Presumably, open everybody. Ideally, open your target last. I see a lot of guys on here who just go straight for the girls, and that makes sense from a numbers perspective. I personally like the idea of indirect pickup, by becoming so attractive by being the life of the party, that girls open you. I also conceptualize socializing as a muscle to be warmed up before really exercising it. So, by the time you make it to your targets, you're nice and warmed up from talking to everybody.

I open anyone who looks like they are interesting. I don't go out with the sole intent of picking up women, I actually enjoy meeting all sorts of people. Sometimes, the groups I'm talking to include a woman I'm interested in, and then it becomes a pickup scenario, but it usually doesn't start that way.

It's very beta to go around like a dancing monkey to every group. Do your thing, have fun (but not the over-compensating dancing monkey style a lot of people here do) and notice who enters your proximity. The point is for the girls to seduce you. It starts with them placing themselves near you.

Open everyone. You'll come across someone that you want sooner or later. A line I've used with some success is "I'm trying to meet everyone in the building. Come with." Great way to get social proof, meet lots of people, and an easy IOI for the girl you've invited along on your adventure.

I'm more direct in my approaches now since indirect game wasn't particularly working for me (lots of getting ignored, getting "it was nice meeting you'd"). I prefer to do this at a quiet but busy bar, but its do able in clubs too.

I tend to go after girls who are either in small groups (no more than 3 or) or sitting alone. If they're looking bored/fixing their hair/adjusting their posture/scanning the bar I'll take that as a green light. I also like approaching girls who have been getting approached by a lot of "nice," guys, talking for 10 minutes then having the guy walk away. This tells me shes more primed for what I'm going to do since she's rejecting guys who are probably trying to "get to know her," or something.

I avoid groups where there's other guys or the girls look like they're really into their own thing.

I'll do some light gaming on as many girls as possible and weigh the options. Then I focus more on the better options. If a cute girl's dumb, that's a turn-off. If an uglier girl's really cool, that's a turn-on. If a cute girl's really cool, I'll work my magic until I feel like it's time to check out other options and try to leave on a high note, then come back later and continue if the other options don't match up.

I would say open as many mixed sets as you want, because that's ultimately where you'll find the quality women and you'll want to practice opening mixed sets.

That being said, choose women that inspire you. Choose women that make you feel something when you see them. Not just "oh yeah she's cute I'd like to fuck her" kind of women, but women that truly inspire you. This inspiration will ultimately improve your game while you're interacting with them. They'll bring stuff out of you that you didn't know you had.

Oh, and stop referring to women as targets. They are real human beings with feelings and complicated lives, they are not objectives.
