I used to get accused of being inebriated, but back then I was faking an outgoing and obnoxious personality and practicing Mystery method.

It's an entry level shit test.

Very simple sentence that qualifies the guy as a potential suitor at the start of a conversation.

Alternatively, you can say you're drunk from drinking too much water or something stupid.

Do you easily get red in the face at all? This could be confused with being drunk. Style once had this exact topic brought up on one of his phone conferences from 2007ish. His advise was the next time it happened to mention that you get this line a lot, and straight out ask why she thinks that.

If in your regular daily life people don't tell you that you act drunk, then you may be "putting on" a personality when you do pickup. If that's the case you need to tone it down and start aligning your pickup behaviors with your natural self.

I know some guys act too energetic/excited/woo when they're doing pickup like, "Yeeaaaah, oh man high fives!! You guys TOTALLY rock! I'm SOOO gonna adopt you as you my little sister." You should have good energy, but not acting like a drunken fratboy.
