LJBF strategyThat's the idea. Fingers crossed eh... | /r/seduction | 21/08/19 07:42 PM
Girl on holidayLo and behold - woke up to a response this morning. Just gonna play things at her pace till she gets back. | /r/seduction | 20/04/19 12:10 PM
The Pain of Not Changing. You aren't the first person to recommend that book so I'll take a look - though I have been warned to take some of it with a pinch of salt in places. I think you're right though - I just need to get to work and see where it all takes me. Already starting to take much better care of myself and my career is going from strength to strength. On Saturday, three separate people I don't look 28 (in a good way) and I work with guys who are 23-24 and already losing their hair.... | /r/seduction | 11/01/19 12:06 PM
The Pain of Not Changing.Yeah when I started last year it was amazing to see how soon I started to enjoy it and not fear rejection. Then I saw what I might achieve if I just tried. Should really have kept going.... | /r/seduction | 11/01/19 08:04 AM
The Pain of Not Changing. Thanks man. Do you tend to get younger girls? And if so, how? | /r/seduction | 11/01/19 08:02 AM
The Pain of Not Changing. No worries - my career is finally where I want it to be now so I kind of feel like my life is where I want it to be in all other aspects, which I hope will feed into my attractiveness.... | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 10:39 PM
The Pain of Not Changing.Did you mean people think 28 is too old? | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 10:08 PM
The Pain of Not Changing.Cheers mate - tbh I'm like your brother I have no intention of growing up and settling down yet and I'm hoping I can drag my gaming out for a few years post-30. | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 09:49 PM
The Pain of Not Changing. That's pretty encouraging mate (assuming from your name you are a Brit too). Whereabouts does your brother meet them? | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 06:46 PM
The Pain of Not Changing.I know it sounds weird but I've always had this feeling I need to make up for lost time - with 30 being a kind of cut off point where you're meant to settle down and it would be weird for me to go after younger women. As I say, I know it makes no sense but I still have this nagging feeling.... | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 06:00 PM
The Pain of Not Changing.More bumble than tinder - I get matches but dates are hard to come by. | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 04:04 PM
The Pain of Not Changing. Thanks mate - the first paragraph was reassuring at least haha. Yeah I didn't get a lot of fun for most of my 20s so I want to make up for it and not feel constrained like after 30 I can't get girls in their early to mid 20s. Are you a Brit too? | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 04:01 PM
A year on - pros and consYeah I see stories, all over this sub, of guys in their 30s seeing girls in their early to late 20s. It would sound too good to be true if they weren't so common! It gives me some hope anyway. I didn't get a lot of game done at all in my 20s but I'm finally at a point where I'm quite established in who I am - great job, much better grasp of my own mind and inner game and better confidence. I'm annoyed it took me this long to get here but even in the past year, where my efforts have been minimal,… | /r/seduction | 10/01/19 08:05 AM
A year on - pros and consDo you mean when I approach (on the rare occasion I do) or when I get rejected? | /r/seduction | 08/01/19 08:08 AM
A year on - pros and consI'm not sure I ever went through a period of hating girls specifically but I was very very angry for a long time and didn't acknowledge it. Honestly, that anger is still there a bit and I'm gonna use what's left of it to drive me. If the anger is noticeable and getting in your way though - that would suggest some issues which I worked through with therapy. Can't recommend it enough. It's a long process but I had to go through it. | /r/seduction | 08/01/19 07:33 AM
Repeating a one night standAll good points my friend - there is a part of me that wonders whether she will want nothing more to do with me. Either way - should be an interesting evening. Will keep you all informed haha | /r/seduction | 17/09/18 04:46 PM
Repeating a one night standThanks for this man. Funny enough, I asked myself "Well, what is the worst thing I could do?" and instantly realised that it would be to only spend time with her or even follow her round like a dog. The great thing is that this is going to be a party where I know I can work the room. A lot of people there that I know how to make laugh in order to stack that social proof until later on. | /r/seduction | 17/09/18 11:06 AM
I thought I was immune to oneitis...I know the struggle well. I'm 27 (but feel weirdly old at times) and started working on myself earlier in the year as my lack of success was driving me to depression and still does at times. I made slow but sure progress. Best shape of my life, more female attention and compliments than ever before. Then - at the end of January - it happened. I only actually met her the once. It was at my mate's birthday - she was actually his 21 year old sister. It was a great night and I pulled her almost by a… | /r/seduction | 13/08/18 06:43 PM
Depression - a catch 22....Tbh I've been having depressive episodes for years - they've just gotten worse recently. I wouldn't necessarily attribute it all to recent events, especially since it wasn't so much a break up as oneitis relating to a girl I slept with and really liked but realistically cannot see again. Thanks for the advice though ! | /r/seduction | 08/05/18 04:23 PM
Depression - a catch 22....Just waiting to be prescribed them (hopefully). | /r/seduction | 08/05/18 02:21 PM
What I've learned after 9 years "in the game": Pre-Opening, Opening, and the TransitionInspiring stuff. Do you mind me asking how old you were when you started? Im just getting started as a 27 year old and I really worry sometimes that I've left it too late. | /r/seduction | 14/03/18 11:13 AM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...A massive thanks again - glad things are on the up for you! Not least because it offers some comfort to a guy who hasn't yet entered his prime. Yeah, I have been warned about the book (and that whole area of the pickup world) on the basis that it can cause guys to become bitter. | /r/seduction | 19/02/18 07:17 AM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...Thank you so much. That's a very interesting assessment of the whole SMV mechanic. If I can hit you with one more question - did you find the theory stacked up in your own experience (despite the fact you were in an LTR for much of your early 30s)? Have you seen proof of it first hand? I don't doubt you for a second but I like to know that people have seen the kind of thing described in The Rational Male first hand. | /r/seduction | 18/02/18 08:45 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...I mean it sucks that you feel you missed out but for a 27 year old guy just starting out that's slightly reassuring at least. Could I ask you to elaborate on why the early 30s is such a good time for game (in your opinion)? | /r/seduction | 14/02/18 07:46 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...LMR? Missed opportunities as in your early 30s would have been prime time to game? | /r/seduction | 14/02/18 12:15 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...Thanks man - do you speak from experience? | /r/seduction | 13/02/18 08:14 AM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...Yeah could kind of tell you were from the UK! I'm in Cardiff myself. I know what you mean about getting pumped - the limited progress I've had so far is enough to show me what's possible. Just wish I'd taken the plunge a bit earlier so I didn't feel such a need to catch up... | /r/seduction | 12/02/18 08:38 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...I always think I'd rather see it first hand than rely on anecdotal evidence! But then again I hear of older guys doing well all over the place - which is reassuring and makes me feel I still have time! I think one of the takeaways from my first lay (who was 21) was that my age is only going to hold me back if I make it an issue. She asked how old I was but had no problem with the answer (probs because I was so ok with it). | /r/seduction | 12/02/18 03:59 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...Thanks mate - glad to know I'm not the only one. I think the element of freedom is an important factor. How are you finding game? Also, would you happen to be a Brit? | /r/seduction | 11/02/18 09:57 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...So far I've done a bit of daygame but would like to branch into nightgame (I figure if you can stomach daygame, nightgame isn't as scary). My city has a central district with a decent sized shopping mall, where I do daygame. There is also a large number of bars and clubs in my city for nightgame. | /r/seduction | 11/02/18 06:35 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...It's always reassuring to hear stories of guys who are still gaming 20 somethings later on. Ultimately, I just want a few years to have some fun with girls. Just don't want my age to hold me back. How's it going with you mate? | /r/seduction | 11/02/18 06:29 PM
Progress and Sticking Points - almost three months on...Thanks- that's encouraging and you aren't the first guy to tell me this. I sometimes just wonder whether I'm chasing something I won't get. By way of background, I've always been terrible with women and only really started improving recently. Ultimately what I want to do is have some fun, sleep around a bit (if I can) and have some relationships under my belt before perhaps one day settling down with a woman I choose, and not one I have to settle for (all of this preferably with younger women). … | /r/seduction | 11/02/18 11:49 AM
First Lay and a conundrum...Thanks again - just to update you - sge thought we lived too far apart to mert so this isn't actually going anywhere for now. Weirdly relieved though, as now I can pursue girls a bit closer to home... | /r/seduction | 06/02/18 11:12 AM
First Lay and a conundrum...I feel like this is good advice. The length and frequency of our conversations has decreased over the course of the week anyway (though I don't push it when those conversations end, I just leave it for a bit) - gonna leave it over the weekend, see where it goes. | /r/seduction | 03/02/18 07:56 AM
First Lay and a conundrum...Thanks man. The tricky bit now is asking her if she wants to... | /r/seduction | 01/02/18 03:12 PM
First Lay and a conundrum...Thanks - how do I broach the subject though? | /r/seduction | 01/02/18 08:24 AM
Mini FR - getting momentum back (slowly)Thanks very much I'll be honest though - I did detect a hint of sarcasm at one point... | /r/seduction | 26/01/18 02:18 PM
Never been on a date and I'm 27 years old. I need help.As a 27 year old guy who has just kind of started ( early days yet ) and is still plagued by doubts that it's too late for me, this is both inspiring and, frankly, reassuring... | /r/seduction | 25/01/18 12:21 PM
[FR] Day two...Thanks man - just hoping I can keep up some momentum and start getting some real results! | /r/seduction | 14/01/18 10:07 AM
My first FR (of sorts)Hey mate - don't worry the first time out is pretty daunting - especially if you're solo! I have done both but I tend to do the yad stop (i.e. running from behind to arrive in front of them and then turning to face them - the key though is stopping them by saying hey/hi loudly and confidently enough, which I still have to work on) | /r/seduction | 13/01/18 06:34 PM
UK lairHey I'm actually in London this weekend but normally on Cardiff. In any case, very interested in the idra of a UK lair. | /r/seduction | 13/01/18 11:20 AM
My first FR (of sorts)It's kind of wierd. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not from London but I came here: 1) because I don't know anyone and so the rejections are double-meaningless 2) a guy offered to coach me here starting out. Maybe because there was a coach pointing out girls and just saying "go", I feel almost no approach anxiety. I'm hoping I can keep that up when I get back home. Very quickly, it starts to be fun and even the rejections don't really make me feel bad. Suddenly life is full of possibili… | /r/seduction | 13/01/18 10:06 AM
Just got out of almost 9 year relationship and I'm lostAs a guy who is 27 years old and looking to kickstart my own journey in the new year, this is pretty damn inspiring and has given me a new optimism. I've spent a few months ruminating on how bad my experience with women is and, since November I've been going to the gym, learning to dance, meditating and going to meetups as part of the groundwork. I've even started to get compliments from girls and spotted a few looking over and smiling while out. Actually signing up for a bootcamp in January to … | /r/seduction | 28/12/17 09:03 PM
Age based anxietyThose are also really good points - I'll need to be a bit kinder to myself. I know I'm not that old and there are, potentially, my best years still ahead of me. Thanks for all of your help on this man - its nice to think that I'll get there eventually. | /r/seduction | 23/12/17 11:23 AM
Age based anxietyThis is reassuring but I acknowledge that I need to start making the change now. I have lost time to make up for. If I dwell on the past, I'll do nothing, nothing will change and I will feel even worse if I'm in the same position at 28. The thing to do, I guess, is to commit myself fully and go in with the mindset that anythibg is possible if I actually try. | /r/seduction | 21/12/17 04:44 PM
Age based anxietyThanks mate - that's good to hear. If you dont mind my asking - how is it going at 38? Do you find your age is affecting the kinds of women you go for? | /r/seduction | 21/12/17 12:22 PM
Am I running out of time ?Thanks for this, it's reassuring to know there isn't so much of a rush as I thought. | /r/askTRP | 16/11/17 10:21 PM
How doomed am I?Thanks man - hope I can turn things around as quickly as it sounds like you did. If you don't mind my asking - what kind of behavioural changes did you make? | /r/askTRP | 01/11/17 07:26 AM
