So to get the headline facts out if the way:

1) girl I've been speaking to for a while - really seemed to like me and kept telling me I'm funny. 2) few dates then on Friday I get told to "come over". Straight to sex, then spend night and morning cuddling with her cuddling up to me when I roll away and moving my hand to her boobs when we spoon. 3) both out for major sport even that evening (Saturday) where I come along and meet her and her friends at the end of the night when my friends go home. 4) out of the blue - takes me aside, were both drunk but I remember her basically saying she really likes me (kept saying that) as a friend. I kind of shrug it off and go home with the expectation of having to next her. 5) Sunday morning she's texting me again saying she's glad her friends like me.

Ultimately, I'm not sure what's going on here. I'm doing a "needy cleanse" and disappearing for a week or two to see what happens.

Still not decided whether I would keep her around as a friend. I genuinely really like her and we really get on (otherwise I would have nexted her) so I'm not made up on that. Plus I know she's had FWB before and that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world here.

Anyway, would be interesting to get people's views on the plan of breaking contact for a bit. I have a suspicion that I'll hear from her again before the week is out.
