I've never tried going out to bars to try to get women, but if I did, im either going solo or going with other women I dont see a benefit with going with other guys. Its just competition

Its because youre conventionally attractive. Whether you have anxiety or not doesn't matter

I dont think social proof works for me. I am a 25 year old virgin who has had a bunch of female friends through my life. However i have never felt what its like to have one that's attracted. Most people my age have, even if its from a woman thats unattractive, even if it's only a few times. But me no, I have never felt it my head that a woman is attracted to me. I may never get that feeling. I wish I can turn off my desires completely because they will probably never get fulfilled

When im traveling I dont even think about dating or sex or romance. I just go in with a goal of meeting people and exploring where I go and having fun and making friends
/r/seduction23/07/26 07:02 PM

Ugly women will still have standards and I will still likely get rejected and there is not many women that are outright ugly. Most are some level of average

Just be glad you aren't me. You at least have had action in your life. I have not, i am 25 years i I have never had sex or even kissed a woman. I tend to go cycles between feeling fine and feeling like shit and feeling great and that changes with the time of day.I could be happy with myself(usually when I am out with friends, or doing the various hobbies im a part of, or when I am solo traveling), then the same day I come to my home depressed that I have never experienced romance. I have never e…

His face probably looked good to women. I dont think its personality, at least not fully. I did the same thing, HS I ran track/field. Most my HS friends separated but I built a new social life in college, I have many friends many hobbies, but I am still a 25 year old virgin who doesn't even know how it feels to have a woman attracted to me. Women obviously like my personality but I do not have the looks for one to be attracted.
/r/seduction20/07/26 09:27 PM
1

Because the women's opinion matters. Thats why they get women, your gaze doesn't matter, the women's gaze does. Plus, looks is whats needed to get in the door, if you have everything else down but are naturally ugly then it wont matter
/r/seduction20/07/26 09:23 PM

It's inherently wrong. Its like if someone doesn't want to make friends with a particular race, thats racist and shows a lack of respect for that race Therefore if a man deliberately avoids friends with women, its misogynist and it shows lack of respect for women.

"I dont see it often but this "I can't bring value to others if I don't get the chance to in the first place" type of complaint is quite annoying." Depends what you are referring to, if you are referring to like a platonic sense I agree with you. But if its in dating sense then I agree with the quote because no amount of "good personality" in dating even matters if you aren't good looking.

You still need to be decently attractive to get a relationship with a woman. And im not talking about just top percentile of women, im talking eith literally any woman, it is very hard work for below average men. Not impossible of course but its not as easy as you are making it
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:57 PM

Libido only makes you feel alive if you are attractive enough to have sex regularly. Otherwise its a frustrating thing to have, desiring something you wont get
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:06 PM
3

Because prostitute is an emotional hit as then youll feel like shit for the rest of your life knowing you paid for something others get free simply from a woman desiring him. Getting rid of libido will get rid of all emotions due to sex and you wouldn't even care. At least thats how it is for me, I would rather die a virgin or kill my libido entirely than to ever pay for sex
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:04 PM
1

What does libido even do for a man if no one desires them? Make him want to jerk off all day? Because thats all one can do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:43 PM

Because doing so requires another person and if no one wants to date them then its impossible

Companionship can be fulfilled by friendships. And friendships dont depend on your genetics
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:40 PM
1

I am considering it as a last resort. I would be 100% happy with my life if my libido didnt exist. I have a strong friend group, I am financially set and I have strong life aspirations. Its my libido that is unfulfilled because of bad face genetics that curse me.

You probably have a better looking face. I am 6'1, can easily be comfortable around women but will still do worse dating than people 5 inches shorter than me due to my ugly face Face is way more important than height is

Idk why you're getting downvoted. I thought some women like going on dates for fun.
/r/seduction15/06/26 03:56 PM

Well I'm not particularly happy being sexless, but I am an overthinker and I have never asked a woman out due to my own insecurities
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 01:21 PM

I am a 25 year old virgin. Am i still an incel if I have never even asked out a woman in my life? I mean incel by definition, not the group

Which is why people should stop trying to attach a moral failing to people who have never dated or have heavily struggled dating. Attraction isn't moral. Its always "oh he must be a walking red flag if he's never dated at XX age"
/r/seduction10/06/26 09:29 PM
1

This is kind of me. Idk I feel more relaxed and comfortable talking to women. At parties like I try talking to everyone but like an hour or two in, I'm drinking cocktails and conversing at the women's table. Nothing wrong with it. Even when I am solo traveling, I'm almost always hing out with a woman or group of women exploring the city
/r/seduction10/06/26 03:01 AM

First part of your statement is true, second part isn't always true because you have to account for those who are more selective with sex(waiting till mairrage, only waiting for a deep relationship, asexual etc.). Of course that exception doesn't apply to me since I'm ugly as shit and i will remain that way forever, but it applies to some other people so you should account for those.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 06:55 PM
6

It may seem that "men dont get it" because men who struggle dating are literally assumed to be all these negative traits like "boring, unfunny, bad smell, no social skills". So they bring up that they have these traits as a defense mechanism against it. Yes its true that those traits don't matter unless the woman is already attracted but thats not what these men who struggle are being told, they are being told that BECAUSE of the lack of those traits is why they are struggling amd there are many…

It happens because many women who see a man is struggling with dating or is a virgin at a late age that "he must not be a nice person" or "he is a creep" It comes when women attach a moral failing to men who struggle to date and "im nice" is a defense mechanism against those who assume the worst "If he were nice then he would have had a gf by now" is a classic statement The solution is for women to stop attaching a moral judgement based on a man's ability to attract women. As soon as that happen…

Don't try to say "I'm skewing the data" thats OP's doing. OP said it like its universal for all men. I called out the exception. OP using "men" means he's talking about all men, ugly or hot. I belong in this discussion because I am a man

It only works when you are attractive.. I spent easily the first 24 or so years of my life straight up not giving a shit. I had 0 dating opportunities.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 07:42 PM
2

No, because I have no interest in parenting
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 03:38 PM

Not really. I struggle dating but women easily are willing to befriend me
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 03:30 AM

Correction: having female friends is absolutely a positive in dating if you are already attractive Most of my friends are women, I have 0 dating life
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 11:43 PM

The attractiveness is needed first. If you are not attractive, you being "funny" won't work on a dating app
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 05:58 PM

It will work if and only if the subject is attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 05:56 PM

Test this out with image of a different uglier person and edit "cousin" over the woman, and see if it still works
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 07:11 AM

Yeah I agree, everyone should be nice for the sake of it, the world would be a much better place. But also the people who use statements such as "if he were truly nice, he would have been in a relationship by now" also need to stop as it also fuels this shit
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:52 PM

I believe the reason some "Nice Guys" are the way they are is because once you reach a certain age of inexperience, many women will assume he must not be a good person, treating 0 relationship experience like some port of moral failing on his part, "If he was truly a good person, he would have had a relationship by now" . Him calling himself a "Nice Guy" is self protection
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:35 PM

The reason a lot of them have to proclaim themselves as "nice" is because womem treat men having never been in a relationship as some sort of moral failing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 06:16 PM
1

I feel like I am not attractive. I have no evidence to show otherwise
/r/seduction13/05/26 12:49 AM
2

That's kind of where the just world fallacy comes in. Yes being nice doesn't warrant you a relationship, but when a guy reaches an older age while still a virgin/inexperienced, he is assumed to not be nice, or be assumed to be a bad person. "If they were really nice then they would have found a relationship by now" is a common phrase from women who are turned off by older virgins
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 02:20 AM

Should I still wear fitted clothes if I am skinny? I am 6'1 but super slim and skinny. I don't have much of a body to show off
/r/seduction06/05/26 03:13 PM

And all of it would not matter if they weren't above average in looks. An average or below average person would not get success despite the same level of confidence. So looks is the bigger factor than confidence.
/r/seduction01/05/26 04:05 PM
1

You could have left it at above average in looks and omitted the rest. A lot of it comes down to how you carry yourself and the energy you bring. It comes down to them being above average in looks. As you stated, thats why they are able to have a lot of casual sex
/r/seduction01/05/26 03:15 AM
1

I am also a little more attractive than the average dude, so maybe that also helps. There is no "maybe". It does help, and is basically a requirement nearly.
/r/seduction01/05/26 01:42 AM
1

Dont forget the right genetics. You can be all of those things but if you don't have the looks it does not matter. No matter how "put together" you are

/r/seduction17/04/26 02:19 AM

Did the gym help your beard grow? Right now most I can grow is a lot of chin hair but barely a mustache and it isnt even connected
/r/seduction17/04/26 02:17 AM

Yes, I have this happen, I get an isolated "signal" or two that could be interpreted as flirting, but then I just assume I am imagining things and assume she is friendly. I do not have the confidence to try to escalate. I do not know how to fix this, because I don't have concrete evidence to point to the fact that I am attractive at all to anyone, so i am afraid to even shoot my shot.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 10:57 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 07:36 PM

I asked this question to someone else in the thread too: Say hypothetically, someone who you thought was gay asked you out on a date, what would your reaction be?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 07:35 PM
4

Yes, one has offered me to come to her bar(she is a bartender). I may go, even though I am not much of a bar person. Another one I think has been trying to set me up as lately every time I go to a party/gathering, I have had women coming up to me already knowing my name somehow.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 07:31 PM
1

Yes, this is true. I have had very little evidence that I am seen as attractive by women so my romantic confidence is low. Now multiply that + women being turned off my virginity at 25 and its worse. I am very close to giving up
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 07:21 PM
3

I am pretty sure one has tried putting me on as I have had women come up to me at social gatherings already knowing my name or randomly following me on IG, but nothing has happened and the interactions seem only friendly. One is also a bartender and invited me to come to her bar but I am not too much of a bar person. I might still go at some point idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:22 PM
1

Ok so a couple more questions: Do you assume a person is gay off only a couple interactions or does it take you a while to do so? What is the best thing I can do at the moment to avoid coming off as gay? I haven't asked out a woman before and I do not want them to be off put on the off chance they think I am gay. I have not been suspected of it but I have a small insecurity that i might. Thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:13 PM
1

Ok so say hypothetically say someone you thought was gay asked you out on a date, what would your reaction be?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:49 PM
3

Oh I definitely do, and I really do not care what people think about them. It's not really friendzone when I have no interest dating them. I only want to date outside my group
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:20 PM
0

Idk maybe, but its an even exchange, they do let me vent to them and they give advice where needed, and I have had women buy me gifts and food as well so it's all an even split. I am overall fulfilled with these firendships and I wouldn't trade them for anything
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 01:45 PM
2

im 25, maybe its young to you maybe not idk. Yes, I have never asked a woman out I have mainly female friends because I usually get along with women better. I am not interested in dating any of them, I would like to date outside my friend group I am looking for long term.

#2 is closest to me, I don't do it on purpose necessarily, it's just that I never really care how masculine I come off, maybe I come off as slightly feminine I really don't even know. It just feels naturally easier to talk to women
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:38 AM
3

I am 99% sure one has. Because I have had women coming up to me at parties already knowing my name, but it never really goes anywhere, she usually gives me her instagram after we chat

What does bf-lite mean to you? what are some examples and I can try to see if they apply to me
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:14 AM
2

"you must have caught someone in a moment, at some point, but just missed something." This is what I try to think, I may have had isolated "signs of interest" i think but then I usually write them off in the moment as a "coincidence" "im just seeing things" and I feel I am right
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:12 AM
3

Only reason I bring that up is that people on reddit say this to everyone who is a virgin lol. "Start by seeing women as people and not objects"
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:05 AM
2

And your suspicions are correct. I have never been rejected as I have never even 'made a move' or "asked out" a woman. A couple reasons are: 1: Being flirty just doesn't come naturally to me 2. I am insecure because I feel I am not seen that way. Even If I were to solve issue #2, issue #1 will still be there

I don't think so. I was told my voice was pretty deep by people which afaik is the opposite of 'gay accent' haha. Maybe I come off as feminine as I honestly really do not care to project masculinity, maybe i should? Thanks for your comment

Gotcha yeah some of these I think applies to me: "absolutely no ability to flirt" Applies to me "No ability to express his interest in a woman early on" applies to me "No confidence" Applies to me "romantically unaware" hmmm maybe.. "seen as gay or asexual" I was told once that I might come off as asexual so this applies. Gay is interesting, I really don't care to project masculinity so maybe that comes off as "feminine". Ik feminine doesn't mean gay but to some it might, It's a very interesting…

I do tease them sometimes, but I doubt it comes off as flirty tbh. I tease the ones with bfs too sometimes lol
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 08:41 AM

I'm gonna be real with you and honest lol I have never asked a woman out because I have seen little evidence that I am attractive. I am working to just get over that but that's an uphill battle of a near 90 degree grade lool
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 08:34 AM
3

Redpill has a few bits good information and I have leard some things, but overall there's a lot of toxic information/manipulation tatics being pushed in it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 07:22 PM
3

I can approach women, but it stays platonic. Flirting feels unnatural to me. I want to just get to the point and just ask them out but I have low confidence on that end. I overthink and say "its bad timing", "I'm not good enough" etc, especially with lack of evidence that I am even attractive. Doesn't help when i read that alot of women prefer to be flirted with before I should make a move. Just a bunch of overthinking on my end. Wish I could have that idgaf attitude but that's hard for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 06:55 PM
10

Idk, I have 0 ability to flirt so I just don't do it. When I try to, I usually overthink then say nothing, so I just keep things platonic out of safety
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 01:03 AM
1

Yeah this is my personal experience. I have told my friends I'm a virgin and they think I am lying to them lmao. However one said that I was "missing signs" sometimes but idek
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 01:01 AM

You can socialize all you want, but that does not mean women will be attracted to you. Socialization gets you friends but there is a subset of people who do everything listed, have many friends but women are just not sexually attracted to them
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 03:46 PM
2

Socializing by itself won't solve anything. Being able to "talk to women" will get you female friends but it will not guarantee you any dating success. You can have all of the other things and talk to women but still get nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 03:31 PM
1

Gym: Working on it Socialize: Many friends Groom youself: Shower 1-2x daily, comprehensive skin care Dress well: I do this, wearing nice clothes every day, even when running to store Establish a career: its my last semester in college but i will most likely make 75-80k right after 0 dating success
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 03:30 PM

Because some men are all or most those things you listed but are still virgins. Non-religious too. You might not like this but hear me out: This describes me, I was TOLD I am all these things listed, by multiple women, so I am not just telling myself this. I wouldn't call myself extroverted, more ambivert, but with the women I do talk to, i get described as all those things and women in general like being around me. but despite it, I am a 25 year old virgin. And there are probably others, kind g…

It's weird because for me, women are easier to talk to than men lol. Now this got me nowhere because I am a virgin but they are easy to talk to for me. Maybe it's about conversation style i guess..
/r/seduction13/02/26 09:10 PM

You need to be able to hold a conversation first. Once you do that THEN you can learn the next step
/r/seduction09/02/26 04:29 PM

this advice works for getting friends, but its not that helpful for dates unless you have inherent sex appeal(attractiveness, flirting ability etc). I have many female friends but get little to no desire beyond that

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 08:45 PM

Idk..... Only reason I have more female friends is just because that's who I get along with better and they tend to gravitate to me. Like at parties for example what happens is that I go and try to talk to everyone but the women are more interested than the men and then I just wind up sipping cocktails with them lmao. When traveling overseas things similar, when I explore a city, about 70% of the time I am with a woman or women, even if the hostel is mostly dudes. It's not something I intentiona…

To answer your first question, no, I currently have 0 clue how to flirt. I am trying to learn how to do it but it will most likely be a long process. To your second question, no, I haven't yet, but i will start doing this. I always waited a long time then realize its too late. I have heard this advice on reddit before and it has made dating more simple. I will try doing this with new women I meet(I don't really want to date my friends anyway).

You are very wrong. Here is my situation. I dress well, regularly shop for nice clothes. Nothing designer, but I wear nice well fitting shirts and pants from ross/TJ Maxx and I do get complimented on them occasionally which is nice. I shower 1-2 times per day, I have good breath, I use a prerinse, brush my teeth, mouthwash, tounge scraper. I have a comprehensive skincare routine, and I get my haircut twice a month. And I am below 15% BF(I am not muscular, I am on the skinny side) but I would not…

Yeah she kind of just offered them after I complimented, I didn't necessarily reach across and grab them. I understand the gay part but tbh I really don't care haha, I like cool nail designs.

-BECAUSE IM CONFIDENT AND MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE I don't think that is the reason, because if it was, I would have gotten to know women on a romantic level as well because I do the same thing.
