How is pointing out the horrible things feminists do a 'witch hunt?' They're the witch hunters, who support bad policies that endanger innocent men.

Well, here's the thing. There is Feminism and then there are feminists.

Most feminists, in my view, are decent people. There are loud exceptions, of course, but I think the average person who considers themselves a feminist is like you - you believe in true equality.

The issue many (perhaps most) MRAs have concerning feminists is when they parade the ideology of Feminism as truth.

What it comes right down to is this: feminism is a belief system. An ideology. It's just a way of viewing the world. It's not synonymous with equal rights or even women's rights (consider the controversy in the feminist community between sex-positive/sex-negative and pro-motherhood/pro-professional factions).

Academically speaking, Feminism espouses ideas like "patriarchy" where they view power structures as men being on top, and women are oppressed. This is a class-view of the world that is similar to Marxism - all members of a group have the qualities of that group as a whole. Not only does it paint too broad a brush, but the concepts that derive from it can be harmful to men. For example:

Men are never oppressed and have no reason to complain.
All men oppress all women.
All women are victims, all men are perpetrators.
Ism's are redefined to exclude groups of people. I'm sure you've heard the idea that "you can't be sexist against men"? This extends from a belief in Patriarchy - that the world is skewed to advantage men as a group and disadvantage women as a group. The redefinition to include power serves no other purpose than to ensure sexism can be committed against the group they deem dominant.

These are all extensions of Feminist thought and the ramifications of this world view can be observed pretty easily. Consider that male victims of sexual assault and rape are virtually erased in statistics. DV campaigns ignore the evidence of men being 50% of the victims and focus on male perpetrator/female victim models only.

So, when you see the anti-feminist folks here, realize that the vast majority are anti-Feminism, and with good reason.

Some feminists are nice and genuinely for equality. Feminism is a vicious supremacist hate movement. I don't care if someone is the nicest Feminist in the world, they are still allying themselves with a hate movement and deserve to be criticized.

When people are naive and don't know much they often still think of feminism as about equality because that's what they've been told their whole life by the propaganda. They learn.

And of course the odd naive feminist that runs through here coming to get the blessing of this subreddit to carry on identifying with a hate movement. "Hey I agree with you guys so it's cool I'm a feminist, right?" Answer = No. (reasons)

Then there's the feminists who are just here to fuck with people I guess.

If witches existed I guess witch hunts wouldn't seem so crazy. You obviously feel it can be OK to be a feminist which puts you in one of the naive categories. That's fine. You'll learn. Feel free to make an argument for those "nice" feminists.

That's a self contradicting claim btw. Even going just by that sentence they obviously do want something more than they want true equality. They want to be called a feminist and still recognised as wanting equality. That's the problem. If they wanted true equality they would run a mile from the label "feminist". So they want two contradictory things. And their desire to go with the feminist label and support feminism exceeds their desire for equality.

So they are coming here to bargain. They see that contradiction. They know they can't have both so they come here to get a blessing. If they can just get the MRAs to say they are cool then it's all good. Then they can carry on helping their hate movement and tell themselves they support equality. It's cool because the MRAs said so, right?

So when you say they want nothing more than true equality, that's flat out false.
