Serious question. When I look at things like the OECD Better Life Index and put all the sliders up, women come out on top.

When I look at the main things in life: Life expectancy, health, work/life, shelter, Family, freedom-- women come out on top.

I have a hard time actually seeing where women are oppressed unless I stretch "oppression" to include things like, being treated like a child when you break the law, or not being forced to die for your country.

Both of which are sexist, but I don't see feminism doing much about it.

I would really, really like to know.
