From the language being employed on the FB page, I very much doubt that this feminist is going to 'question her own beliefs'.

Has this filmmaker talked to Karen or Alison yet? I think it would be very important to include women that are apart of the MRA movment.

I'm glad she questioned her own beliefs. I wonder what her ultimate conclusion will be, though?

The "production still" of Big Red on her facebook page is brilliant, though.... really, facepics of that woman could make even the straightest of men go very very gay.

I will say the captions of the "production stills" show a BIT of a feminist slant... Erin Pizzey is described as an MRA author (technically true) but there's no mention made of the fact that she founded the first women's shelter in the world. The fact that Pizzey is an advocate of a gender-neutral theory of domestic violence (the Cycle Of Abuse theory) makes her an "MRA" is somewhat sad, really, since the Cycle Of Abuse theory isn't slanted towards ANY sex!

It says a lot about our society that being gender-neutral makes one an MRA.

That said... the documentary is a bit of progress and the fact the film-maker is questioning her own beliefs is good. If she becomes an Equity Feminist rather than an establishment/class-war feminist as a result, that's an achievement, but even if there's SOME opening of minds that's better than nothing.

I really hope this is a documentary equivalent to Men on Strike that really tackles the issues and isn't some hit piece.
