Well, of course society shouldn't focus only on men. Nobody says that. Noone should have to die by suicide.

But in order to lower suicide rates we have to look why they happen.

You have to keep in mind that yes, now almost everyone knows that men are more likely to die from suicide than women. But that has not always been the case. There was much misinformation. For example when depression was seen as a women's issue. Or the emphasis on "women attempt suicide more often than men". Before it became common knowledge that far more men die by suicide than women, articles mainly focused on the suicide attempts by women.

What I am noticing that the MR get mad when feminism get a poster with some men saying they can stop rape. I can understand that you get mad, because men gets blamed and they are the greater group that commit rape.

The amount of men who commit rape is quite small and the entire premise of "men can stop rape" is ridiculous. Rapists don't care about such posters and innocent men get vilified. Also, female rapists mostly go under the radar, due to many different reasons, that's why the impression is that only men rape.

Men's Rights. Said this, male and female suicide tends to be different in general, that's why it needs both a general and a more specific approach (as opposed as a general woman-oriented approach).

Feminism claims that they are for gender equality. But thats a lie.

MenRights admits that it fights only for the rights of men. That is true.

Said this, I care for both male and female suicide victims and as I said above, the approach is different. Statistics in some countries show that 80% of men who commit suicide are either divorced, in process of divorce or widows. There's something huge there and it's not just custody laws. There's a lot more behind it.

On some things. MRA's complain that people focus what a man did wrong when he was abused by a woman, then fight against feminists for complaining about victim blaming.

Feminism causes these imbalances by running a discriminatory gender "equality" movement, and pretending that women always come out worse.

The rape prevention is based on stopping men from raping, that's one thing. If the statistics were regarding rape that feminists use then okay they have a point, but rape prevention targets males only while the reality is that rape is done by males and females and almost in equal proportions.

Suicide prevention however is mostly gender neutral, suicide prevention hotlines or centres are not gender specific. If you search suicide prevention for men/women you don't hit any results with instances where one gender is denied access or the other is targeted entirely. But, and here's why men's suicide is a bigger issue here is because the success rate is 4x higher than that of women still. So in a world where prevention is gender neutral men commit more suicide so it only make sense to address a substantially larger group with initial priority.

This is bad because their literature implies ONLY men rape and that it is an inherently masculine trait that ALL men exhibit. That it is OUR responsibility to ensure womens safety and wellbeing and that they should not bare any responsibility for themselves or their actions what so ever. These are all incorrect things.

This is good because men are the majority of suicides. Nobody claims women don't commit suicide or that they do not deserve help, it is merely gender focused because the thing it's self is. It makes sense in the same way that breast cancer advertising is female focused even though men can and do die from it (although that is admittedly a more extreme example).

The difference is if women went around putting up posters about womens suicide then men would probably nod in agreeance. If men went around putting up posters about female rapists then women would be raging int he streets and tearing them down in protest.

Feminism isn't just fighting for women's rights at all. You see, it's also for transgenders, transsexuals, asexuals, pangenders, fat people, trigger warnings, gender neutral child raising, being domestic and hating white men because muh privileges.

It's a fucking joke really and a waste of everybody's time in its current state.

In some ways yes. It has always bothered me that one stance is "It's mostly women who slut-shame, so therefore it's a non-problem", while another stance is "so what if most violence against men is inflicted by other men, violence is still a problem!". The answer I think is to remain focussed on the problem and how to correct it, and not get bogged down in thinking that once we merely identify the perpetrator, our job is done.
