In general: how did a tiny minority "achieve" all those things.

And in particular:

  • women's suffrage was part of a bigger suffrage of all adults,
  • English has a lot of words that aren't gender neutral (like she or congresswoman),
  • women don't have equal pay at least if feminists are believed,
  • nobody fought to get contraceptives to markets (although spreading of information was under dispute here and there), and
  • women had the right to own property and enter into contracts in most western countries before feminism was invented (although many countries had certain restrictions).

The sources are both books that are not online (not for me, anyway) and the pages are not mentioned. Sounds curious that such splendid achievements can't be found in any text that could be checked easily.

To be clear, I'm not saying that feminism played no role.
