The formula is simple: In the beginning a woman is attracted to you for all the tingles you give her because you are the ultimate Alpha. You are wild, free, indifferent, aloof and untameable. She can't help but get dripping wet and chase you.

After numerous and relentless attempts to get you, the process of betaization starts. She can't afford for you to be your wild Alpha forever, she now needs a provider. Slowly but surely she domesticates you, becomes very happy with the relationship if you concede. Let's assume you do. This of course has the side-effects of less sex.

If I understand sexual dynamics correctly, there will come a point where she will become resentful of you if you just keep betaing it up, provoking her to start looking around again. This "looking around" can surely occur in different forms, not just necessarily cheating, but either way, the odds are very high for this.

Now I'm wondering if it makes sense to then turn back into your old Alpha self when this starts happening. Start doing dread (which is essentially what it is - the process of unbetafying yourself again) and get the tingles going again. Welcome back sex, welcome back independence.

All of this seems to repeat in cycles. After getting back that alpha lovin' for a while, she might start requiring beta security again for whatever reason (children probably). If she ever starts needing more of that beta security, you can start going easy on the dread again and settle into suburban bliss temporarily.

All of this honestly sounds a bit exhausting and I'm not sure if one woman is ever worth this and if one man can ever truly succeed at this. Either way, would you guys ever consider this as a viable relationship strategy?

Thanks for reading.
