Using an alt here, obviously...I work in a small business staffed by a majority of women, and I experience daily, aggressive sexual harassment because I'm a young, attractive male. While the ego boost is nice, it sometimes crosses the line, like the time a coworker old enough to be my mother insisted that I "take off those pants right now, your butt looks too good". It irks me that if our genders were reversed, I'd be fired in seconds flat. And I'm not going to deny that I do receive perks from my sex object status. If I want a day off, I just ask the woman who does the scheduling, and I ALWAYS get it, no paperwork, questions asked. If it were a female coworker asking for time off, she'd have to get someone to cover her shift, fill out a form, and then it would still be iffy, depending on her position in the company & the reason for the absence. It's ridiculous, and I feel bad for abusing the system.
