Because by being with a woman you display value to other women. You also cause competition anxiety in girls who found you attractive and they respond by trying to sabotage the relationship you are in.

It's funny how the opposite is often true for women. Years ago I (foolishly) LTR'd a girl who had a ton of orbiters. She said, "as soon as we became FB official, all my guy friends stopped talking to me".

Pre-selection and abundance mentality. You may not realize it, but you are more ouwardly more confident now that you have an ltr. Females pick up on this even if you don't.

Just watch out and be aware - at 32 she has or is going to very soon hit the "wall".

Did you read the sidebar? Because I swear I saw somewhere in the sidebar about preselection and non neediness when you fuck with hot chicks. Maybe these are the reason.

I actually had this happen to me a few months ago. I got into a LTR and literally 2 weeks after that I had a discussion with a friend of mine who told me that certain women were disappointed I got into a relationship. My reply "Where the heck were these women before?"

I had 2 previous plates find out and started texting me, even though I hadn't replied to them in months or years.

I think everyone here hit the nail on the head. You act indifferent and confident when with someone, cause you're not looking. Also it seems that since someone vetted you for LTR, you're now moved up on the SMV scale slightly.
