Here's my situation: I'm in late 30s, recently divorced, have 50% custody of my son who's still in childcare. I'm relatively good looking, tall, make good money, workout. It's relatively easy to match and meet women. But... as soon as they realize I have a kid they bail out. I never mention my kid, but somehow they feel it and start asking questions. If I mention kid in my profile I get 0 matches. I'm tired of wasting my time going to first dates only to be rejected because of a kid. It's like a black mark. I understand that nobody want to deal with baggage, but I'm looking for some strategy for myself.
If someone have similar experience, what would you advise? Should I mention it before going on date and lose 99% of dates? Or should I shut down all questions related to my past and family situation? But then if I bring them home it'll become obvious because they'll see some kid stuff. I can't hide him.
