Such a lovely comment. This is the kind of thing male victims have to deal with. It's pretty sick, no one would ask a woman to grow a set, if she was suffering from DV.

The issue of domestic abuse against men was recently highlighted in a Coronation Street plot.

It's kinda sad that people need to relate to TV characters to realize what happening to the character is abuse and that is what's happening to them.

Also my face when the poster gives the women's help line, is it that hard to use a service that both genders can use?

Men suffering domestic abuse need to do this the first time it happens:

Leave the crazy behind. Take your stuff and move into a hotel.

Otherwise, one or more of the following will happen:

She'll injure herself and blame you
She'll provoke retaliation
Social workers will assume you're the abuser
She'll find another way to ruin your life

Man or woman, crazy is crazy.

American MRAs: look into working with the Family Promise Interfaith Hospitality Network. They are a nationwide group that provides housing and transitional assistance - one of the few that serves men and male children on terms of absolute equality with women and female children. I have met several single fathers who got out of abusive homes because the IHN took them in.
