When boys do better, it's because something is holding girls back. When girls do better, they earned it.

They're hiding a lot of interesting stuff here.

Research published last year found that certain countries — generally ones with more gender equality, better teachers and fewer students living in poverty — showed a smaller gap between males and females in math and some had no gap at all.

They are hiding the fact that in many 'gender unequal' cultures the gap favours girls. They're hiding it behind the gender neutral 'smaller gap between males and females.'

Further 'gender equality' always correlates with 'white, wealthy and western'. Wealthy certainly would explain why kids are doing better on the tests overall.

But they are completely omitting the fact that in these 'gender equal' countries the gaps favor boys yet in many 'gender unequal' countries the gaps favor girls.

That's a pretty big ommission.

I'm starting to believe feminism isn't helping women either.

Lets bring this to planet Earth here. This tactic doesn't help anyone perform better at math. It doesn't improve women's ability to perform, and it is an attempt to discourage men from performing as well.

So in the end, feminism just halted the progress of humanity.
