This is nothing that original but I still want to say it. It's us men who give women the feeling of self entitlement that they have. Women aren't held up to high standards by men (In general). The only main standard seems to be looks. And women know it. They know that they don't have to be anything but good looking. They know that they can get away with pretty much anything as long as they are physically attractive. They are exempt from living up to a lot of the standards all human beings should be held up to. They don't have to be kind, they don't have to be thoughtful, they don't have to be generous, they don't have to be giving, they don't have to make sacrifices, they don't have to be compassionate. We like it when they are, but they don't have to be any of those.

So let's be smart. Let's not be driven only by our sexuality. Let's use our brains more. Let's hold women up to higher standards.

Of course this will come at a price. (Not finding women [who live up to those standards], being single and being called losers, being called "not man enough", etc). But we won't get real gender equality without paying a price.
