It doesn't make sense that these staunch advocates of "equality" act only upon issues of their own gender when men are socially marginalized in a number of ways. In other words, how is that a group can argue--much less, be taken seriously--when social inequalities are subject to gender symmetry? [this being a conservative estimate, as I believe men are subject to greater inequality].

This is why I've become more interested in Men's Rights. Equality is a two-sided phenomenon, and it's not right for one gender to argue out of self-interest and not give a damn about the other.
