Well I tried on FB with my professional circles to educate with video: Do Women Earn Less than Men? Here's what I got from Psychiatrist... (first red then rest yellow, I suck...)

Well I tried,

My apologies for my shaky hand on MS paint (neurological disorder). You can see my learning curve, LOL. In addition I was going to make the colors all represent the individuals but messed up. From Red on (then yellow) are all the same person who is psychiatrist who latter admits not even viewing the video.

Pretty frustrating to go through all of that for nothing :(

In addition, it is super important that everyone realizes sexism exists and that's why I didn't speak about the 1st persons experience. I think the existence of sexism creates Sexism Vulnerability, a condition where a person starts to interpret the world as if all the unfavorable actions are because the stigmatism of the ISM. You see this in racism as well.

Here I'm at a loss how to educate and get through while acknowledging the sexism... Sigh.

I wanted to read it but all of the longer comments were cut off because you didn't click on "see more." Kind of pointless posting it when so much is missing and it's impossible to even follow the conversation.

Seems like it basically came down to "My personal experience as a woman trumps your statistics" and "something must be psychologically wrong with you for questioning the status quo." Ironic.

Somebody commented in another thread about how it has been a concerted agenda of the feminist movement to put a woman's "personal experience" over logic or facts in an argument. And here is a perfect example.

Good lord. This person sounds like they have an opinion and refuse to hear any different. You were polite, you cited many sources, and all she had to say was "MUST BE NICE BEING A MAN!" and then later on admitting she works 40 hour weeks with three day weekends! No wonder she got paid less.

Did she ever bring up the issue of her salary or raise? How does she know she makes less (who talks salary in the same workplace??)
