German media (such as the cited 'Spiegel' which is a weekly magazine slightly left of center) goes nuts, anti-feminist comments are strictly moderated.

EDIT: http://bit.ly/HKInO8

EDIT2: The chapters have titles like: "The world has changed - the feminist world view has not" or "The feminist self-contradiction: preaching emancipation, but exercising paternalism", "The feminist bite reflex: enemy man" or "Glass Ceilings: The restrictive effect of feminist role models."

EDIT3: Spiegel Online had a pro-gender-quotations campaign running for approx. three years now.

EDIT4: Spiegel Online struggles to argue why we still need feminism and gender quotations:

  • 'gender pay gap' (despite feminists having a different comprehension of statistics, it's officially 8% in Germany, which still has not been controlled for, e.g., unpaid extra work)
  • women occupy only a fraction of the well-paid jobs (but still choose to study the wrong subjects)
  • proportion of women not working after childbirth is higher than in other countries (they can afford the lifestyle)
  • women prefer working part-time and therefore have to expect poverty later in life (well, get a better paying job)

EDIT5: removed 'leftist' as it lead to misunderstandings in the context of US politics.

tl;dr: In Germany, Feminism lost government support =)
