We'd ban the users who made the evil comments and offer support to the suicidal person. It wouldn't affect my membership to the community unless it was done as matter of course or encouraged by the leadership.

If anyone in this subreddit egged-on a possible suicide, or indeed, succeeded in taunting some individual who was on the edge and that person then killed themselves. I would expect the permanent banning of whoever participated in that taunting. If the mods failed to remove offenders and /r/mr became a reddit which accepted this kind of conduct, I'd lead the campaign to shut it down.
