There is no reason to be excited about until something passes the FDA. There are still going to be men who don't have access to the birth control or are manipulated into not taking it. Regardless of your hypothetical solutions, men still deserve a way to opt out of parenthood if a partner gets pregnant.

No. I can't say im excited, bcause we know the huge economic forces fighting AGAINST the idea of a male pill. Too many people make too much money on the millions and millions of 'oopsie' babies.

Ill believe in a male pill when I see in on my walgreen's shelf.

The RISUG stuff being developed for the last 20 years in India looks amazing, and it starts trials in north america this year.

go to the Dr for 15 minute procedure/injection and you are good for 10 years(reversibly by basically the same procedure)

I can't wait to see how this affects unwanted pregnancies.

Very excited. I can't think of anything else that will be as consequential as non-hormonal male birth control.

All the other changes desired here and elsewhere among Men are dependent on a change in public policy that is hard to effect, such as mandatory paternity testing at birth. If someone can name something that isn't, something that will help men but doesn't need to be passed by a bunch of bureaucrats, do mention it.

As for VR sex, it's not something I'd want personally, though I could see how it might be beneficial to me even if I didn't partake. Either way, it's impact won't be felt for several years.
