So this is a first time post and I was told I could get good answers here. So here goes, my girlfriend of 8 months and I have not been doing too well and I think it's time to break up. A few weeks ago she attacked me physically because she found out that I had been talking to another girl. She started beating on me with her fists and knocking me into the tub after I had just gotten out and I had no clue why so I had to protect myself by pushing her out of the bathroom by her shoulders. Now that I am trying to break up with her she is saying that she had bruises and she has pictures of them and will take me to court if I break up with her. She claims that because I have been a bad bf and been so shitty to her that she will get revenge on me by making me suffer too. I have tried to be the best bf I could be but I have never been in a relationship and I guess I didn't know how to go about things. I did record the last conversation that we had discussing this. What should I do?
