Monday, March 19- Today I go before the court with minimal representation. I did not raise enough money to fund a new defense. I face 60 days in jail this morning- because a magistrate ruled that I was not allowed to speak freely on Facebook.

As most of you are already aware, for the past several weeks I have been posting a court mandated apology to my soon-to-be ex-wife Elizabeth Byron for comments that I made on my personal Facebook page on or about November 23rd 2011. As of March 9th 2012, I declined to go forward with publishing the remaining apology postings that the court demands. After much thought and introspection I concluded that it goes against my better conscience to continue publishing statements that I do not believe in and in fact did not even write. This is about more than me and my particular legal situation. This is an issue of FREEDOM and relates to all of our rights under the United States Constitution. It is with great respect to my fellow Americans that I offer up my own personal freedom so that future generations may enjoy a continued right to express their opinions without the fear of persecution. This is not a decision that I've come to easily but I could not respect myself if I did not take this important stand.
