If the government is going to mandate that hormonal birth control be paid for by insurance companies (which I'm fine with, btw - I think its good policy), shouldn't they also be required to pay for condoms?

Condoms are the only form of non-surgical birth control available to men, and condoms do more than just prevent pregnancy - they prevent the spread of STDs. Wouldn't it be in the best interest of both equality and public health to pay for birth control for both men and women, especially when paying for condoms has the added benefit of preventing STDs?
