One thing that strikes me as very apparent is how the media focuses on the lack of women somewhere in society. It's seen as a problem. Why aren't women doing that? Why are women shying away from that? How are they being discriminated against?

Compare that to when men are lacking somewhere in society. Look at the questions asked. Why are men so lazy? Why don't men grow up? Why are men shirking responsibility and commitment?

It's seen more as a problem with men themselves than as a result of some kind of discrimination; the root of the problem is always men so there's no need to look for any discrimination.

Just thought I'd point that out. I've read hundreds of articles that are really little more than man bashing.

A concrete example is marriage. Usually articles focus on women not being able to find anyone and that men just aren't good enough or too lazy. They usually fail to mention how screwed men end up after a divorce and that there might be very valid reasons for men to not enter into marriage.
