It's okay for women to receive special treatment - because they are treated worse!
It's okay for women to have more influence in politics - because they are kept out of politics!
It's okay for women to be sexist towards men - because women are fighting to stop sexism!
It's okay to tell men they don't need rights - because feminism is about helping men too!
Women need a lot of special advantages - because equality is important.

I wonder why, if feminism considers the government a "male dominated, patriarchal" organization, is feminism almost always allied with political parties and ideologies that seek to expand the scope and power of government.

Can you imagine a politician asked during a campaign about his platform's plan for women and NOT giving a prepared, reasoned response? Can you imagine him asked about a plan for men and NOT reacting with confused laughter? My local government has a ministry for women, but not one for men. Women control a majority of votes, so if they would just vote as a bloc, we'd never need to have another man in power at any level of government. Somehow, it seems that women are aware that it's completely unnecessary that they do so...
