Interesting /r/ I stumbled upon, but here are my thoughts, and I don't think it has much to do with MR.

What gets me is if you listen to the 911 calls. The same responder gets both calls and she receives the mother-in-law's call first. The responder is cautious, and caring, and by the tone of voice genuinely concerned for this lady on the phone. When the man who is actually shot calls in, the responder sounds as if she doesn't believe the man, she lets out many long "sighs" and her tone of voice is of total mistrust. WTF????

I don't get it. How could the mom say that he pulled the gun. Hes the one with the bullets in his ribs. That seems fairly conclusive to me

I listened to her 911 call on another site and even while she was trying to sound so frightened and distraught, she twice mentioned that "he'll probably tell them I did it". That makes her sound like a lying sack right there.

I thought this subreddit was for obvious male discrimination, not for the recent trend of posting 'woman beat man' articles. Those aren't necessarily discrimination.

It's like when an LGBT teen gets murdered, and /r/lgbt immediately jump to the conclusion hat it must have because of their sexuality

If someone uses any phone the headline is:

Man used phone to record...

but as soon as any apple product comes into play the name is the most important part. Maybe he said to the interviewer: "You have to let the world know that i use a iPhone (tm)"
