Do a little good old fashioned brown nosing to get your foot in the door (ex: man you seem to be very good with clients, let me buy you a beer so I can pick your brain a little bit) and then demonstrate value through your personality, ambition etc

There is no person on this planet that you have nothing to offer to. You don't know who will find you funny. You don't know who your point of view helps. You can offer companionship. Loyalty. Not everything has to be about a currency mark. Everyone needs support, we are social creatures, we need each other.
