IE: male suffering is an impossibility according to these people.

Testimony from experts on Wednesday focused in part on the relative sensitivity of the male sex organ, with one witness explaining a penis could not be used, for instance, to read books published in Braille for the sight-impared.

This is why there are no long-term scientific research projects investigating the effects of circumcision. Because that's exactly what we need to sue the pro-mutilation camp into oblivion. And not-coincidentally the pro-mutilation camp holds or strongly influence the purse strings on research funding.

Well... that and the fact that everyone knows damn well what the findings of a genuine study would be. We know the results would not be pretty and therefore no such study is allowed.

The demographic data put together by Goldman in "Circumcision: The Hidden Trauma" alone is grounds for a broad study of the subject.

We are able... we have the tools... we have the data... but we lack the will to look at this issue closely.

And so the mutilation continues...
