Most likely you are attractive but you don't flirt with girls or date as often as a guy with your attractiveness level should.

There was a guy I worked with who was in his 30s, rich, good looking and single. And when I told women about that guy several women separately said "He's probably gay".

I used to get this sort of thing when I was younger because I was skinny and a bit of an intellectual. In hindsight, I was deathly afraid of showing that I was a sexual person for fear that someone would call me a creep.

Hit on girls, get laid and stop being a nice guy. That last one is so unbelievably crucial. It should be overly clear from your female friends that your dick gets wet. If it’s not clear it’s because you’re not acting masculine around them. Plain and simple.

One day, I pulled out a floral pattern blue collared shirt from my closet to wear out to dinner. That night alone multiple woman insinuated I was gay. Although at the time I figured it was just shit testing, it might simply have been my shirt which wasn’t really typical for my style

Jokes aside: If that keeps recurring, there's something about you that let's some people make the assumption. Some people just act in a way that makes them seem gay, because they fit the gay stereotype enough.

What to do about it? Own it! Own it the same way others deal with being short, bald, having acne scars, having a feminine face, ... Go and look it up, there's plenty of advice already been written here and elsewhere.
