This is another thing that I hate about this justice (...ahem, bullshit) system of ours. They can and often do continue to punish you if you maintain your innocence. He lost his good behavior standing because he maintained that he did nothing wrong...how the hell is that even morally right? He's already been convicted and is doing his time. If there are no conduct issues on his record, then how can he have violated his good behavior standing?

But you see this shit all the time in our prison system. They don't just want to punish you; they want to break your spirit. There is a huge difference between maintaining your innocence and being unrepentant for a crime you were convicted of committing. But these armchair paper pushers don't want to see that. They want you in there with your hat in hand and begging for whatever scraps they deem fit to throw at your feet.

Fuck everything about this system.

Fuck the false rape bullshit.

Fuck punishing you for maintaining your innocence.

Fuck them all.

According to court records, in September of 2002, Holm went with some UNI wrestling teammates to Iowa City to watch the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game.

I was at that game. Thats our states big rivalry. I don't recall this one because that same year, Pierre Pierce was accused of rape... even though according to the police report published in the paper, she consented to oral and vaginal sex with 2 dudes, she didn't like it in the pooper.

Theres no way both of these 2 weren't completely fucked up.

Anyway, supposing he was guilty, is 7 years really a reasonable charge for performing oral sex?

My brother freelance taped this kid when his team came to the Cleveland meet. They are making a documentary about him and probably will be shopping it around if he qualifies. Hoping the best for him!

I wonder why he waived his right to a jury trial? Seems like there would be a better chance with a jury.
