My best friend and I are in the same classes this quarter. We're both similar in all aspects except he's white and I'm brown. I dress better but it's close. He's in an LTR so isn't on the lookout for girls. I'm not actively trying to bed girls either. I have gone through the TRP side bar and have learned a lot. One of the main things I've understood now is body language and social cues. It's frustrating to see how the color of his skin is getting him more IOI's that should, on paper, be evenly split between us. I'm talking about glances and smiles or them opening him when I'm right there as well. I get my fair share of girls but case by case I feel their attentions go 65:35 in his favor. I know what I have to do, and this is not a real excuse for anything. It's just what I've been observing how skin does seem to raise smv a bit. Gonna keep hitting the gym, clearing up my skin, working, doing fun hobbies. I just needed an outlet to express these frustrations of these little exchanges. Any other advice welcome.
