I could see it leading to discrimination in that women can't really participate in the joke telling so they lose out on the net working aspect of it.

After reading through the first 5 piles of bullshit (paragraphs), I reached the crown jewel of bullshit, the actual explanation of the study -> "the men were instructed to imagine that they were employed at their place of business. The men were split into two groups. One group read a series of non-sexist jokes. Another read a series of sexist jokes. Both groups of men were then asked to contribute money to a women's organization. "

Men feel pressured by political correctness and society to oblige in giving a little bit of the pie to women's groups that spread misandry. The comedy brings the men back to reality in helping them realize that women are not superior to men, which allows them to feel less pressured about giving money to women. Just another bullshit study from psychology -- but hey, what else is new?

I've joked about every ethnic group, several mental disabilities, both sexes, lifestyles are fair game, and I've made some very tasteless ones I don't wish to say a second time.

I don't discriminate against anyone.

Didn't bother to read the article, because it's probably the same 'Guns/booze/jokes/books/whatever' causes 'deaths/addictions/cynicism/heretical thinking/whateverideal' article.

No. Sexist jokes don't cause discrimination. Discrimination causes sexist jokes. The same way it causes racist jokes.
