Ugh. Typical feminist bandstanding, ignoring the concept of false accuse allegations and the rule of evidentiary tradition. She knows which side her bread's buttered on and should be ignored accordingly by anyone with a sense of justice.

Jessica Valenti obviously loves no man. If she did, she'd be concerned about the impact a false allegation could have on somebody she loves. What will happen when women start accusing other women?

This seemed so ridiculously over the top I was a bit skeptical, so I did a little digging:

From what I can tell from the article, she doesn't actually come out and say it directly (as a blogger I'm sure she knows the climate isn't quite ready for that) - but does seem to be advocating it.

I suppose some feminists would call objecting to "guilty until proven innocent" as being "rape apologists"

Of course, it is shocking. But, presumption of innocence has long been abolished in rape or child abuse accusations.

But yes, it does go further. It does not only abolish presumption of innocence, it formally introduces clear and total presumption of guilt. It does go another step.

So whenever a bank robbery happens. I must be ready to prove I was not in the bank, one of the masked man. Otherwise I will be jailed as bank robber.
