I was browsing around reddit and came across this post. I have no advice for the guy, but it brought a question to mind.

Edit: adding this in here because too many people are noticing the guy is engaged. My fault for not clarifying this first. Let's assume that the situation is that the couple isn't engaged and that they really even aren't that serious. For the sake of a line in the sand, let's say they haven't even said "I love you" to each other yet. That should put more in to focus where the curiosity in my question lies.

His girlfriend adamantly refuses to get an abortion and wants to have the baby. His girlfriend said at one point, "either [you] want to help raise this baby, or get out." If he had a recording along these lines, would it help him defeat any of her court requests for child alimony? I'm thinking it would since she is essentially saying she doesn't need him around to help raise the baby. I ask you, Men's Rights, because I want to know if this would actually work in court or if, despite my logic, he's completely screwed either way.

The original poster on the other thread is not me and I don't know him, but I really got curious about this when I read it.
