"Rape is equality." You'll find his type is fairly common among a group who call themselves "Men's Rights" proponents.

Really? This is common? I have never heard of such a point of view even though I have been in the "movement" for quite some time now. What is this guy smoking?

He might be confused with our passion to rein in the false-rape sword women hold over men in the courts. I'm sure PZ just happened to see the word rape in a post without some kind of male-bashing (MEN ARE RAPIST PERVERTS!) and assumed that we all just love us some rapin'.

Saying all people who call themselves one thing think the same things is ridiculous. It's not fair to take the most radical (or least socially acceptable) viewpoints expressed by a group member and claim every single person in the group believes them.

I'm guessing that the guy who said "rape is equality" was just using this extreme to highlight the inequities of pro female affirmative action.
