And if he had pushed her out of the way, he would get 10 years in prison . . .

Man pushes PREGNANT WOMAN out of his way….

[–]McFeely_Smackup 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

6' man pushes mentally retarded pregnant woman down staircase.

I mean, most of that would be true

[–]No-Tomorrow4532 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You missed the part on the headline that goes. Sentenced 30 years #femalepower

[–]unjustexistence 67 points68 points69 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

The government says you can't assault women no matter what. Even if she's in your way. that's gyocentric society for you.

[+]TiredOfAllThat6 -89 points-88 points-87 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Society is gyocentric because the government doesn't allow you to assault women that are in your way?

Wtf? No.

[–]AcidKritana 59 points60 points61 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No, it's gynocentric because it allows women to assault men and men can't even defend themselves. Also, pushing someone away is not "assault."

[+]PM_SHORT_STORY_IDEAS -7 points-6 points-5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's technically battery, but unlikely to be ever prosecuted...by reasonable people.

So yeah, not assault

[–]AcidKritana 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A black man was being harassed by a white woman. He pushed her away, incredibly lightly. She flung herself onto the ground dramatically. This was all caught on camera. Sorry, not battery.

[–]Drippinice 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yikes. You can just sense the entitlement you feel you have

[–]Marcuspie 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

If someone is hostile to you and threatening, you should be able to put them to the side and remove yourself from the situation. It has nothing to do with assault and more with making things not escalate and be the better person.

[–]Educational-Tough-21 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Okay why do women complain about rape then. Surely they can just run away and not escalate by fighting. Fighting is necessary sometimes. If we could hit women using the same criteria that women use to hit men then women would be way less fucking hostile.

[–]OriginalFinnah 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. Because they would know there's a consequence to their actions

[–]McFeely_Smackup 35 points36 points37 points 4 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

However, the judge concluded Ms Francis’ actions did not amount to gross misconduct and would not justify a summary dismissal.

So, her behavior was bad enough to justify a settlement for him, but not bad enough to fire her.

That literally makes no sense

[–]TracyMorganFreeman 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It makes perfect sense.

He was given shut up money. They kept more of their money by not firing her and the expected media fallout.

It was just a numbers game to them.

Situations like these are why I only need 2 taps to start videorecording. They will ridicule you and gaslight you, but proof is king.

[–]Anywhere-Better 35 points36 points37 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

That poor man, hope he is doing okay, I am so happy he won his case. Something similar happened in the Tesco I worked in a few years ago where a male colleague and female colleague were at the fridges and he was 5 minutes late back from his break because he was at the toilet and she attacked him in front of the customers and another female colleague actually pulled her off him because the guy felt he couldn't fight back.

She didn't get fired, just a warning and they were supposed to keep them separate and not on shift together but after a month that went out the window. Tbh most people didn't talk to the woman after that and thought she was horrible. Most people were on the guy's side but the managers did fuck all. I told him that we would help him go to the police/sue but he didn't want the stress (which I completely understand). I can't stand that woman, honestly, sometimes I hope karma is real so she could learn a lesson.

[–]Oppubb0 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

We let people get away with too much just because we don't want the 'stress'.

[–]Vanriel 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Perhaps but it's everyone's personal choices, and whether we think they are right or wrong, we have to respect that.

[–]Talonsminty 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah but if you're working for low pay quietly worrying about your next utility bill it's probably not a good idea to add the pressure of a court case.

[–]Anywhere-Better 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah exactly, plus he hadn't finished his 3 months at the start meaning he could be let go at the end of the 3 months if they see him as a "troublemaker". It is very sad indeed. But the staff all supported him at least and we had his back.

[–]poopyroadtrip 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Makes sense, because power differential is the reason for this type of abuse

[–]Vanriel 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So let's reverse the situation.

6ft Woman suffers from ptsd from previous employment and is told she is not being flexible enough. Her boss, a 5ft 4 man calls her into the office. She feels uncomfortable and wants to leave. He puts his foot in the door to prevent her leaving.

Yeah.. Gross misconduct right there.

[–]Storm_cloud 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People don't get how it works. If it came to a fight, of course a big guy could beat up a smaller woman. Problem is, it's not a fight. If he did lay hands on her (even in self-defense), he's probably going to jail. And he knows that.

And if he's scared of going to jail (as most men are), then that's how a man gets intimidated by a small woman. Not because he thinks the woman can beat him up in a fair fight. But because he knows the woman can do whatever she likes to him, and he can't defend himself unless he doesn't mind going to jail.

[–]Glum-Pen-728 39 points40 points41 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is hilarious. We should metaphorically burn it all down by behaving just like women. "She touched me inappropriately! Prison!" etc.

[–]Diligent-Education64 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

These are the new rules of the game. You're supposed to report this stuff now. If men don't report it, they'll say it doesn't happen. Let the chips fall where they may.

[–]Drippinice 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The heights being in the headline is one of the most sexist things I've ever seen

[–]aigars2 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why even mention feet? To make the woman a victim?

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Based.

Annoying that we have to play by the Degenerate rules of the Feminists; but there is wisdom in using their laws/rules/protections against them 🤷

You're actually seeing this thing become much more commonplace; and the Feminist Reactions are an absolute goldmine 🤣

[–]OriginalFinnah 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good.

[–]MyUsernameistakenagn 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What does height matter really
