Honestly, most guys fail within the first week of texting. And now someone has come along who hasn't. I'm actually pretty happy my reaction now isn't, omg he's amazing, but what the eff is he hiding?

Ok, biggest plus is he hasn't rushed things but shows initiative/interest. Hasn't mentioned one physical or sexual thing. Similar beliefs, similar interests. He has intelligence, manners, and is looking for a life long relationship.

Part of me wants to start asking dozens of questions like an interrogation, but I'm not going to. I'd like to just take it slow and observe his actions and responses to things so he isn't aware and changing to say what I want to hear.

I feel like my check lists aren't specific enough. I have deal breakers but the rest seems to subjective for me to feel confident evaluating him.

Some point soon I want to do a facetime date and see where that goes. I'd like to cover more topics I should be aware of before in person dating. I'd like tips on how to do a good job of vetting someone at this stage, thanks.
