Someone commented on a post I made that after a year her ex stopped acting like a HVM and went LVM.

I mean at some point LVMs get comfortable and stop putting up the act. That or it’s something like a honeymoon phase that ended.

Have you noticed any red flags that might indicate this will happen?

Should the vetting process be like two or more years?

I’ve heard this happens with abusers too- sometimes it doesn’t start until people are married or have kids.
