How many of us here have experienced virgin-shaming, or body-shaming (such as with penis size, weight, height) from people who, supposedly, should have grown past those comparisons? What's going on, why is this as common as ever, why isn't it rejected in the discourse? Why do I become ostracized and shamed even more when I try to reply to this shaming asking for respect and care for other human beings?

Misandry is so normalized. From "neckbeard", "incel", "short", "Napoleon syndrome", "fat basement dweller", etc. People and groups that congratulate themselves on being for equality and respect suddenly dehumanize the other, suddenly want to assert dominance in a primal sense, purely related to "body counts" and "success with women", or body mass. I find this absolutely alienating and it's a big part of me not wanting to enter leftist collectives anymore or relate to most people at all, as I feel like an outcast, talked behind my back, shamed, for being quite shy, socially anxious, probably autistic, and not conforming to male expectations. Many times this was corroborated by others. Narcissism is everywhere, we just can't stop competing and trying to one-up the other, instead of caring.
