Not that it should matter, but previous research from the US BJS has found high levels of abuse from female security guards both in adult and juvenile male and female prisons.

In some instances you were more likely to be abused by female prison guards than you were by male prison guards or even by fellow inmates, which is what the stereotype is.

It also backs up the idea that women are just as likely (if not more) to abuse positions of power over others, including sexually. Which was a big point when #MeToo was popular a couple years ago because the claim was that men are uniquely exploitive of their power, whereas women were supposed to be perfect angels and therefore more deserving of authority over other people.

As an aside, this is an example of harmful gender norm enforcement from feminists. If men and women really are more similar than different, it makes sense that we wouldn't see many differences here, either. Feminists typically like to pretend that women are just as "good" as men (usually in terms of talent and capability) but not as "bad" as men in other areas. When these are likely just two sides of the same coin.
