Because acting in this manner allows them to exploit privilege afforded to women, and despite loudly claiming to be about gender equality, many of these "activists" are delighted to exploit and reinforce gender norms that benefit them.

The truth of the matter is, in emergencies and crises, nobody is turning to women for a solution. This "women are so much more competent than men" is just pseudoscientific babble.

Jesus christ, how long can a sub live before it devolves into "women bad"? Look how many posts have "feminism" in the title on the subs front page right now. I'll wait.

Do you want here to be like MRA youtube? There's a reason that place is mostly a cesspool, and it doesn't take rocket science to figure it out. It was here that at around 400 subs, we had great content and discussion about MALE ISSUES.

To make matters even more funny, drop the gender and she makes a brilliant point. It's a sentiment i've echoed for a while, and i think is a great medium to carry our message accross. And that is, when somebody makes a statement with an obvious double standard, ask them what would they think about it being applied to their children.

Would you want your daughter to be slut shamed or your son being left out due to his height? Your daughter finding it hard to progress in her work or your son to have substantial difficulty getting customer service jobs (that may be a bit local to my area though)?

If you only fight for one's issues, how do you expect the other to prosper? You reap what you sow. Don't be partial.
